1. Eraser

Withdrawal and seclude me,
Trap thorns and lay thee,
On paper so tainted,
Unwanted and forsaken.

It's warm inside here,
This white space of mine,
Where walls hide my fear,
And space is my shrine.

Red marks too vivid,
Where blue pastels shy,
For yellow streaks quite livid,
And green colors nigh.

Closed eyes are better,
Then open and naked,
Since black is forgiving,
So memories are dated.

White canvas, dark shadows,
Is what we all need,
For obtaining still moments,
And pausing life's greed.

So erase and wipe out,
All stains and deep thoughts,
For feelings too vivid,
Can destroy and retort.
