“Thank you said Dawn as she was escorted by Richard Burton who then sat next to her and Oliver Reed on the other. They asked her how she had got into music and she told them that she was a classically trained pianist, but her father had asked her to accompany him on one of the songs and write the music.

I remember your father from “The Dune Tunes’ we used to dance to all of his records in the Café Agogo.’ Said Richard and Ollie as he was better know to all his friends.’

So what brings you to London asked Dawn?’

“We are both filming here; Richard is a good friend of mine and rang me up to come out.’ You must come to our première when it opens.’

“I will send you tickets of course.’

“I would love to come, thank you.’

“You are most welcome; have you all had dinner as you are welcome to come back to the Savoy and have dinner with us if you like.’

“That would be lovely wouldn’t it daddy.’

More champagne was ordered and Dawn had another bucks fizz as the Rolling Stones got up and sang “Little Red Rooster,” Get off my Cloud, “Walkin’ through the Sleepy City.’ 19th Nervous Breakdown and brought the house down with “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.’

“When they were finished Richard stood up and then escorted Dawn to the exit; both he and Ollie were wearing tuxedos and both Jim and Rosina followed Dawn into the Limousine that was waiting outside Tony and Carl Allen got a taxi.’

When they arrived they went to the penthouse suite where a buffet had been laid on.

Richard asked Dawn, Rosina, and Jim just to help themselves.’

By twelve o’clock the party was in full swing and Mick Jagger, and Ronnie Wood showed up along with the four members of the Swinging Blue Jeans. There were other actresses there who she was introduced to.’

If this was what being famous was like then Dawn wanted it.’

Gordon was up at six o’clock he had a shower then changed into another tee shirt he had sponged out his smalls along with Tracey’s an left them near the wood burning stove and the heat had dried them. He put them on then his hiking trousers and socks before making coffee for both himself and Tracey.

He had brought a packet of digestive biscuits so he opened them up and put some on a plate. He heard the shower running so he knew that Tracey was now up.’

Tracey came out with her clean fleece on and a towel wrapped around her head.’

“Sorry Gordon I’m not an early riser I’m afraid.’

“I made a pot of coffee would you like some?’

“Yes thanks’

“We’ve only got digestives and a selection of cheeses and boiled ham for breakfast I’m afraid.’

“Good enough for a feast said Tracey;

“I will make us lunch at my house when we get back if you like.’

“That would be nice.’ Do you not have a lecture?’

“No what about you?’
