I woke up, expecting the usual exasperant sunlight, only to find myself in the damp, gloomy cave. "perhaps if I venture further into the cave, I could find some useful items..." I thought to myself, looking dazily at the dark abyss awaiting. Within around 10 minutes of venturing in the cave, I found myself in a particularly larger cavern, and suddenly, out of nowhere, I heard the cries of many whismur, and before I knew it I was being bombarded by graveler surrounding me. It was so dark, so cold - what could I do? That was when I used hyperbeam, blinding them all and giving me just enough time to escape. Hastily, I rushed out of the cave, finding myself in the path of a rather high level mightyena. Still unused to the sunlight, the mightyena used tackle, sending my onto my back, when it clambered onto me and repeatedly used scratch. I gathered all of my strength and hurled him off of me, into the trunk of a nearby tree. "heh. That'll teach you" I commented, before wandering off into the bushes. Collecting a few useful items along the way, I made way to the river. That was when I realised I had read the contours wrong on the map at the briefing. The river was at the bottom of a rather deep ravine... Could I jump across? No, it's too far. Going around would be too risky, too many pokémon would I encounter. I was rather certain with myself that this was what humans called a 'dilemma'.
