She looked at me and jumped a little, I was pretending to be asleep. She crept around the room gracefully, and she made her way to the door. She slipped out and returned a few moments later with a small slice of bread and a small hunk of cheese. She peered around the room through the darkness. I wanted to talk but I didnt want to frighten her.
Ignoring the voices in my head, I spoke.
"Cora?" I said barley a whisper.
With this she jumped and dropped the hunk of cheese and the bread to the floor. She started back for the wall and I bolted up. I jumped and landed on top of her... wait.
Cora is a ghost, how can I feel her. How can she be holding the cheese? How is she using the house elf way and just not floating through the walls? All these questions rang through my mind as I sat on her crushing her under my weight. She let out a weak little moan and I got off her, I helped her up too.
"Cora you son of a bitch, you have some explaining to do" I said. Of course I instantly felt bad though, I mean I thought she was dead. I mean she could be for all I know...
"Well.." She trailed, awkwardly looking around.
"Okay, okay. I know that I've kinda been MIA (Missing in action) For the past few months. However I have really good reason too-"
"CORA YOU MADE ME THINK YOU WERE DEAD!"
"Shh" She hissed.
"Can you fucking explain because I am freaking out here"
"Okay. First of all I'd like to apologize, I knew you were depressed and always angry about this, however I couldn't come to talk to you and Draco for a very long time for many reasons. One being the fact that I was scared, I was scared that Voldmort or a death eater would find me and kill me. Another being the fact that, no I am not actually dead. I am very much alive."
And I swear at this moment I just needed a minute to soak it all in.
