I opened my eyes and everything was upside down... I assumed that our car flipped over. Ashton lay unconscious, sprawled out on the driver's seat. I coughed a little and wondered how I could get out of this situation. I looked around, no one seemed to be around. I looked at Ash and shook him. "Ash..." I whispered. "Ash." I said a little louder, shaking him harder. He opened his eyes. I sighed in relief.
"W-what?" He said, I put my index finger up to my lips signaling him to shut up. I looked in the back seat and Luke blinked his eyes open while Cal was still unconscious. "Wake him up, Luke." Luke shook him violently until he woke up gasping.
A/N: Hey, what do you think will happen to them? Comment what you think and thank you so much for reading this. I will try to update this one once every two weeks. I love you all.
"W-what?" Calum caught his breath.
"We need to leave. Now." Ashton whispered. We followed his orders and helped each other out of the demolished car. We grabbed as many supplies from the car as we could and were on our way down the night fallen road.
"So... what happened while Calum and I were sleeping?" Luke asked from behind me. I turned around so I was facing him and walking backwards.
"I don't know. I think Ashton just lost control of the car." I grinned and teased Ashton. He stuck out his tongue and playfully shoved me.
"Hey, it's not my fault you don't know how to drive." I laughed. That's when we heard something.
We stopped in our tracks and looked around, straining our hearing. I reached down and pulled a throwing knife from my ankle strap that held another knife in it and got ready to throw it at anything that threatened us.
It was a horde. We all groaned in defeat, there were at least 10 of them coming from the trees from both sides of the high way.
"Fuck." I said, overwhelmed at the amount of them. All we could do was run. But, they could run too.
