Thankfully for Griffyth, Caitlyn's first scream was covered up by the heavy thunderstorm outside, and he was able to cover her mouth before a second scream could erupt from the girl. Naturally, Caitlyn began to struggle while her mouth was being covered. Griffyth wrapped his free arm around Caitlyn, trapping her arms at her sides. This led her to begin to struggle more, and kick whatever part of his body she could.

Griffyth chuckled. "Calm down now babydoll, If I was going to kill you I would have done it already."

Caitlyn seemed to consider this for a moment. She stopped struggling and looked to the teen holding her expectantly.

"Are we gonna behave now?" He asked, raising one eyebrow.

Caitlyn nodded.

"You sure?" He asked, this time with a cocky grin.

Caitlyn only growled in response.

He let her go. "You should get out of those clothes, you're soaked."

"No!" She yelled. "No, I'm not taking my clothes off! Not while you're here you psycho!"

"Relax princess, I'm not gonna peek," He grinned. "Unless you want me to?"

"No!" Caitlyn shrieked, throwing her dripping sweater at him, before leaving the room and slamming the door behind her.

A few minutes later, Caitlyn and Griffyth were sitting at Caitlyn's kitchen table, each with a cup of tea and Caitlyn in a pair of fleece pajamas.

"Why do you want to kill your father?" Caitlyn asked, still nervous about having a murderer sitting across from her.

"Because he killed my mother." Griffyth replied, almost too casually. "She didn't deserve that and so I'm getting revenge."

"And you've killed before?" Caitlyn asked hesitantly, only partially wanting the answer.

"Only about a dozen times," he told her, as if that was a low number. "Relax, they all needed to die anyway."

"How can you just decide that people need to die?" The girl replied, somehow beginning to feel normal around this killer.

"They were just like my father," the boy replied. "They thought they could take advantage of people, harm people, just because they're smaller, and weaker than them."

Caitlyn could sympathise well with having those types of people in your life. "What do you need me to do?"
