“He looks almost human when he’s dressed doesn’t he Liz.’

“Come Brenda let’s get out of here.

“Have a nice evening the pair of you said his mother as they got into the car and drove away heading towards the A69.

Vercelli’s was a nice little restaurant with an Italian theme running through the décor.

There were candles and a single red rose on every table.

The waiter came over and showed them to a table in the corner of the room and left them the menu to look at.’

“Would you like drinks he asked before leaving?’

“Yes, could I have a coke please and what would you like Brenda?’

“Can I have a glass of wine please?’

“Certainly replied the waiter then went to the bar to pour the drinks when he returned he placed the drinks on the table and asked if they had chosen what they would like to eat.

“Yes, could we have a garlic pizza that we can share and a bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese with mushrooms and fresh basil please?’

“Certainly sir, is there any thing else?’

“Not for now thanks’

“This is lovely isn’t it said Brenda.’

“I thought you would like it; I came here a few years ago with my mother and father.’

“They have good taste Brenda stated.’

“How’s the wine?’

“It’s sweeter that what I normally drink at home but easy on the palate.’

“What did you think of my parents then Roger asked seriously.’

“They are really nice; your father is quite funny.’

“Yes, he likes a joke my dad.’

“I bet both our parents are talking about us right now; even planning the wedding.’

“Roger nearly choked on his coke.’

“Just joking silly said Brenda.’
