1. The Outsider

All the good stories follow an outsider,

But what if they didn’t find happiness?

What if they remained, the free glider?

Would the stories be happy any less?

For I am the outsider in your home,

I doubt I’ll ever find find my place,

I’ll end up all alone, a syndrome,

And forever out of place, and face.

Don’t feel sorry for me my dear,

Because I’ll leave when I can,

And you’ll never see me, for I fear,

That if you do, I’ll be a broken man.

Don’t expect to see my silhouette,

Would it hurt you or I any less?

This is my final word, a threat.

Leave me be, or I’ll confess.
