1. Chapter One; New Life In Beacon Hills

-AUTHORS NOTE-

Obviously I do not own these characters apart from a few which I will be adding into the story just so I can write my own things, obviously I will change the story line a bit but it will kind of be on the original story because I love Teen Wolf and I am a massive STYDIA shipper so.. hope you enjoy.

LYDIA'S P.O.V

I tiptoed through the iron door quietly, totally unaware of where my body was taking me or what I was about too lay my eyes upon. I was following a long trail of blood...

"What did you do to yourself.." I heard my mothers brittle voice coming from the room I was about to enter, as soon as she saw me her face dropped and her eyes widened. "I told you to stay in the car." Her words were now harsh. "LYDIA! I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE CAR!" LYDIA LYDIA LYDIA... Her voice was echoing itself through my head as I looked at the person she was knelt beside, my grandmother had taken her own life.

LYDIA LYDIA LYDIA!!!

....

"Lydia, Come on wake up you don't want to be late for school." I feel my mothers firm grip on my shoulders awakening me from my nightmare. I felt the sweat on my forehead and wiped it away with my sleeve, You think I would be use too it. I have had the same nightmare for the past couple of months now. "Are you ok honey, You look a little warm." She rubs my arms and stands from my bed. She pulls back the curtains and opens my window, letting the cool air from the fine spring morning bathe me. It was relaxing but I didn't want to close my eyes, I was to scared that I would fall back into a slumber.

"Do I have to go?" I leant against my bed frame. "I don't know anybody and I'm not very good around new people." My mother strokes my hair.

"Well if you stay at home all the time you will continue to know nobody besides your going to make plenty of friends, Just try not to be sarcastic." She pokes my nose with her finger and begins walking out of my room. "Get dressed, You don't want to be late." She smiles before closing my bedroom door. I throw back the covers and stand in front of the mirror admiring myself in nothing but an over sized shirt, I pull my cheeks down in order too get rid of the bags under my eyes. I didn't feel happy with myself at all but who does, we all have flaws. I walked over to my wardrobe and pulled out a stripey top, a skater skirt, some knee high socks and some small black boots. I quickly got changed and moved onto my make up normally I would style my hair but I just let it loose as it was naturally curly. My makeup was also simple, a little bit of foundation and a lot of mascara. I didn't care for first impressions as long as I was ok, other people's opinions didn't matter to me.I look at my watch... time to go. I took a deep breath before walking down the stairs, My mum was in the kitchen making coffee. "You want me to drive you there?"

"No thanks." I grab my bag. "I can drive myself. I don't want you talking about how many friends I'm going too make and how smart I am. That kind of mother talk slightly annoys me." I pick up my car keys from the bowl on the counter and smiled at her before leaving my house, I close my door at the same time the girl next door does, I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Hello." She says happily, "I'm Sarah."

"Lydia. It's nice to meet you neighbor."

"You too, I'm so glad your kind... the last people to lived in that house were a little crazy. Even though Beacon Hills isn't the sanest of places." I raise an eyebrow and she catches on to my confused look. "Oh sorry I'm rambling on again, Are you going to school? I mean if you are.. We could drive together."

"Sure." I say, "You want me to drive?" I point to my car and her eyes widen.

"That's the most fancy car I've ever seen! I mean look at my old thing." She points to a matte black land rover it will pretty cool I have to admit but I felt I needed too drive just to secure a friendship with this girl.

"Come on." I motion her to my car and unlock it for her to jump into the passenger seat, After a couple of minutes of awkward silence she finally asks,

"So... why did you move too Beacon Hills?" I scrunched my nose up, I didn't want to answer but knew I had to.

"My grandmother was in Eichen House, I don't really know why she had to come here but they said she had to be put in a special unit that they had no where else but a few months ago she took her own life, I didn't take it very well as me and her were very close and I couldn't understand why she did it but I guess that's how it is." I shrug my shoulders, "We moved here because obviously my mother had to go threw all the funeral costs and paper work and it would take months and I told my mother I wanted to be close too her grave so.. here I am. I don't know why I want to be close but some almost.. drew me to it."

"Lydia.. I am so so sorry." Sarah rested a hand on my arm. "Consider me a friend." She smiled and that made me smile.

"Woah.. I'm not even at school yet and I already have a friend. Success."

"Oh and I will introduce you to everyone! There's Scott, Stiles, Liam, Hayden and... Malia."

"What's wrong with Malia?" I pursed my lips.

"What?"

"You paused before her name."

"She's.. just... err.. ignore me. Just try not get to close to Stiles. He's Malia's boyfriend."

"Oh Sarah honey, I don't plan on getting close too anyone especially guys.. they're evil."

"Bad break up?"

"You could say that.. He was called Jackson but I prefer too call him the boy who changed." I shake my head. "I won't go into it."

"It's ok."

After another minute or so we arrive in the parking lot. It was packed full of cars but I found a spot right next to a small blue jeep, it was cute but awfully tacky and made my car look like some sort of model. There was a couple leant against it, a girl with short hair and a boy wearing a maroon flannel. Sarah grabbed my arm as I was about to walk off.

"Stiles! Malia! Stop kissing for a moment.." The couple leant against the car parted, the boy who I guessed to be Stiles pulled away first, oh god he was cute. He smiled and I noticed his dimples... remember Lydia... the best way to avoid a broken heart.. is to pretend you don't have one.
