When You Live In San Fransokyo (Hiro X Reader)

(Y/N) was a usual everyday girl that lived in San Fransokyo with her dad. When she meets the gang everything starts to slowly change, including getting her first ever crush. This is only for girls, no guys what-so-ever!

8. Chapter 8: People's Thoughts On Things

You guys were all hanging out one time when they found out that you had a crush on Hiro. The only one who didn't find out was Hiro himself.

Once they found out, though, it was endless teasing about you two. It embarrassed you beyond belief and you wished that they never found out. When they first learned the news, you told them, they were just interested. Now, they wouldn't stop pestering you about telling him.

I told the gang that I liked (Y/N) and now I regret my decision. I felt like I needed to vent to someone and it obviously couldn't be (Y/N), so I thought the gang would be the right choice. Boy was I wrong. They wouldn't stop pestering me about telling her. I knew I couldn't do that. I mean, come on! Why would she like someone like me? She's beautiful. I'm just....me.

Your P.O.V.

I won't tell him. That way it won't hurt our friendship and it won't make things awkward between us. I mean, what is there to like about me? Sure, I've got a wealthy family, but that doesn't change my personality or looks. I would probably be a 5 on a scale for how pretty or beautiful you are. 10 being the highest and 0 being the lowest. If you switched to how cute or handsome someone was, cause this would be for guys not girls, Hiro would definitely be a 10. Why would he like someone like me?

Honey Lemon P.O.V.

I'm having trouble getting Hiro and (Y/N) together. They both are probably getting annoyed by now, with all my insisting of them telling each other their feelings. Plus, they both deny that the other would ever have feelings for them. But hey! Someone has to get the two cuties together! Otherwise one of them might get together with someone else and then it would hurt the others feelings. It's my goal not to let that happen.

Hiro has been acting differently around (Y/N). It's been happening every time she comes over to visit. He blushes and is always helping her, or me, whenever he can. If he hears she's coming over, he gets nervous and does everything he can to get the place suitable. Even without me telling him to!

I finally went to ask him about it.

"Hiro, what are you doing?"

"Oh! Uh, nothing!" He shouted. I heard a thud. Right...

"By the sound of it, that isn't nothing. What are you doing?" I asked again.

"Really, I was doing nothing! I was just sitting here, in my chair, staring at the wall."

"Then I snapped you out of thinking of something. What were you thinking about?"

"Uh, n-noone."

"Oh, so you were thinking about someone." He couldn't see my face but I was smirking.

There was a pause then Hiro came down the stairs. I was in the kitchen and making supper so he went over to the table and sat down.

"So tell me about her!" I said. This was the first time he ever had a crush and I wanted to hear all about it.

"Well, she is really pretty. No, gorgeous! She has a kind personality, being nice to everyone, and happy all the time." Hiro stared dreamily.

I laughed quietly and decided not to interrupt.

"She's just perfect!" He looked at me. "There's no way that she would like someone like me."

"Don't you dare start thinking that way! You have your positives!"

"Not as many as her." He mumbled.

"Do I get the honor of knowing this female's name?" I asked.

He paused, then gave a sigh. "You probably figured it out by now. I can't act normal around her at all!"

A thought struck me. It couldn't be (Y/N), could it?

"Is it, (Y/N)?" He looked up at me.

I grinned. (Y/N) was a sweet gal, so knowing that my nephew liked her made me happy.

Maybe this will stop him from going bot-fighting. Goodness knows that he should stop so he doesn’t get injured.

“I just don’t know what to do.” He put his head in his hands.

“Tell her how you feel!” I said instantly.

“You sound just like Honey. She’s been trying to get me to confess for days!”

I walked over to him.

“You’ll figure out what to do. Don’t worry.” He just sighed.

“I hope so.”

I found my daughter with a far-away look in her eyes sitting at our dining room table. She didn’t notice me when I walked in, so I walked over to sit next to her.

“Hey sweetie. What are you thinking about?” I asked.

There wasn’t a response for a little while so I snapped my fingers in front of her face. She jumped out of her dream-like state with a start. Her gaze whipped to me.

“Dad! I didn’t see you there.” She said.

“I can see that. So what were you thinking about.”

“Uh, nothing.” I raised an eyebrow.

“Tell me.” I commanded. (Y/N) gave a sigh and her cheeks heated up.

“Hiro.” I smiled at her. She was completely red and it was adorable.

“It’s just, I can’t stop thinking about him now-a-days! His brown eyes with the golden flecks in them, that cute gap between his two front teeth, his messy black hair…” She went into another trance.

I snapped my fingers in her face again. She apologized and stared at the table.

“Look, sweetie, if you need anyone to talk to about these things I’m right here for you, okay?” I put my hand on hers. She smiled at me and got up to give me a hug.

“Got it.” She said.

“Good. Now, you go out and buy yourself some chocolate okay?” Her eyes lit up.

“Thanks dad!” She gave me another hug, after I handed her some cash, and ran out the door.

“...She better not get sick because of eating too much chocolate.” I mumbled to myself, getting up out of my seat to go to my office.
