Loving or Lying

A girl. Broken from the outside in. The world around her, confusing and large, yet suffocating and small.

A boy. With no meaning in life. And so close to giving up, due to one situation after another, always so disappointing to his eyes.

What will happen to these two broken people.
And can two halves make a whole?

8. Chapter 8

*Simons POV*

April's gaze intensified as I showed myself out of her house, grabing a random pice of paper from the fridge as I left.Making a point to leave through the open window rather than the newly, unlocked door. I walked two blocks out and then read the piece of paper of which I had stolen from her fridge. It was a schedule for her day, she had to go to work at a smaller bookshop in a rural part of the city in just over half an hour so I decided to head over there. The bookshop was called 'Lotis Apparatus' and was a small, single story bookshop with one tiny window displaying only five books. As i walked in a bell rung above my head, I was worried for a second until i realised it was atached to the door to tell the shop assistants somebody had just walked in. I was here 5 minutes before April was suppost to start working so i had a quick browse. It felt like I had just opened a book when I herd the bell again, peeked around the corner to see April wearing her bright red hat coming through the door. I hid behind a bookshelf, just above the stairs where I had a perfect view of the single till, being expertly operated by Aprils experianced hands.

A few hours past as I watched her.

Selling books. Stacking shelves and making the place look nice until another girl came April grabbed her stuff and walked out. I could already see where she was going. She was headed to that large bookstore. What was it called again. Mys...Myst...Mysterium. That was it. I left my hiding place and ran out. I sprinted all the way there. Taking a De-tour to avoid running past April.

When I entered I went straight to the lift and pressed the button for the second to top floor, went to the far corner and sat down. Without turning around I picked out a book from the shelf behind me and started reading. It was interesting, it was about a girl who fell in love with a boy but the boy began to stalk her. My reading was bought to a stop by the dinging of a lift as the doors opened to allow April into the room. As she saw me her jaw dropped. She must have felt so many emotions at one time. Surprise, curiosity and fear to name but a few.

I thought she was going to scream.
