It's come to that time again where I do my daily writing. Or should I say typing? Whatever. It doesn't really matter. Today's day of school was fairly simple and boring. We were supposed to take our common assessment today on writing. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I even think I may have gotten a hundred. That's what mainly happened at school all day besides me eating a small salad and sleeping. It's a big wast of time to keep the kids in that one class longer than the test had been. After school, I went outside looking for my neighbor that I go home with usually, but today I didn't see him. "Maybe he was picked up early.." I looked over at my little brother Momo. "Actually, I think I saw him leaving school at some part," Momo said looking up at me. "Yea.. Probably." I took my phone out and began to dial my dad's number. Moments later he picked up. "Hello?" "Dad. Where are you?" "I'm thirty minutes away from your school Kyoko. I can't pick you up today, Im busy." "*Sigh*. You're always working so far away dad and after school too." "Yea I know.. Sorry." "It's fine. Bye Dad." "Bye." With that ended I hung up. I looked down at my dumb flip phone and began to call my mom. No answer. It only makes sense though.. Mom's always tired after staying up at night. I mean, she's exactly like a bat. I gave another sigh going to my last option. My older sister. I had a feeling she wouldn't be able to because of work or the car, but she just didn't answer. "She never answers thanks to her phone," I mumbled. I then heard a loud yell next to me. "OHH! You have flip phone just like my friend!" I nodded slowly as the person went to look for his friend. "Okay?" I then heard someone behind me. "Boo." I turned around to see my good friend Nanoko. I stared at him for a moment, then realizing what was wrong. "H-hey! Did you miss your bus or something?" "Yep," he said taking his phone out. "I made it to the bus before it left, but that lady refused to let me on and just left me standing there." "Wow." "Yea." "Oh! Is your mom picking you up," I asked hopefully. "I think so. Why?" "I don't want to walk home today," I said glooming. "Okay, I'll ask her," he said texting. "Thank you Nanoko!" Once his car arrived, it turned out to be his dad or sort of step dad. Ugh! His mom's boyfriend. Anyway, I got a little nervous, because dad's usually are grouchy about these kind of things. Once Nanoko had asked his dad, he motioned us to get in. As I followed my brother in, I thanked the man. Moments later he got a call from Nanoko's mom. "Hello....? Yes they're in the car. Yea! They just jumped in." "I asked you before they got in," Nanoko corrected. "I ain't no taxi or Oober!" As he talked to her on the phone, I couldn't tell if he was joking or upset. I didn't blame him for being grumpy though. Once we got home, a flow of relief came over me. I was starting to feel guilty having Nanoko's sort of step dad take us home. At least it was over. I opened the door to see nobody in the couch. "Guess mom's in her room this time," I mumbled."Yea," my brother, Momo, agreed. I went up to my room, glad to be in my own place. That was until my brother started bothering me with his piece of bread. Don't even ask.... Now I'm just doing whatever work and art activities I have in store.

                                                               * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I was doing my work,when I suddenly hear my brother, Machi, laughing really hard. I had let him play with our recent puppy in the office next to my room. I smiled thinking of how cute it would be to watch him giggle while paying with the puppy. Moments later, I heard my mom knock on the wall loudly. It usually means she wants us to come down, but this time that wasn't the case. Once I had gotten out of my room, I saw my older brother coming out as well, and we both heard my little brother scream "Kyoko!!!!!!" My mind quickly thought, oh better check that out first. Once my older brother and I got into the office, we saw the puppy attacking him. It didn't look very  violent, but she was biting his arm constantly and he just sat there letting it happen! I quickly picked the puppy up as my older brother began to talk to my little brother."Don't let her be the boss of you! You're the owner, not her! And don't just sit there and let her constantly bite you while you cry!" My brothers tears had stopped and listened to what Alex was saying. Alex might have sounded rough, but he's only trying to toughen him up. I mean, he sat there and just cried! Once Alex had finished his talk, my little brother went to mom. Alex and I followed along and explained to why we didn't come to him sooner."I thought he was laughing really hard," I admitted. "I thought the same thing, but I came out because it started to annoy me..." I was surprised by how similar, yet different our stories were. We thought he was laughing because his laugh sounds a lot like screaming of joy. Once I had put her in her room, I decided to have a cup of noodles. Cup of noodles are really good, okay!? Anyway, I guess that's it for today. Later.
