Ashley's POV

"Okay, mommy's here. I'm here." I said, as I picking Bryant up from his crib. He continued to scream, as I rocked him back and forth. "Shh. I'm here." I whispered, walking around the room. He quieted down a bit, but didn't stop. "Let's go for a little walk, yeah?" I said, walking out of his room.

Ashton woke up really early this morning to do something. He didn't tell me what he was doing, but all I know is he took the car and Jackie with him.

"Who is that? Is that you and daddy?" I asked, pointing to a picture on the wall. Bryant sniffled, and played with the back of my hair. "Is that you and Aunt Anne, who you probably don't remember." I smiled, kissing his cheek. He leaned his dead on my shoulder, and his eyes fluttered. "I know, you didn't sleep so well last night." I whispered, running my hand in his brown hair.

I took Bryant's favorite cereal out of the cabinet, and poured it into a bowl. "Come on baby boy." I said, setting him in his highchair. I put the bowl in front of him, and took out a marshmallow from the bowl. He smiled at me, and picked up the cereal.

"We're home!" Ashton called out, closing the garage door. "Where did you go?" I asked. "We had to go get something. We have a little surprise for you." He smiled, taking my hand in his. "What?" I asked with a small smile. "Follow me." He smiled. "Wait, I have to grab the baby." I laughed, walking to Bryant.

"What's the surprise?" I asked, readjusting Bryant in my arms. He turned to me, and smiled. "What?" I asked. "Do you know how much I love you?" He asked. "What did you do?" I asked, stepping back. "Nothing bad. But... a lot of money was involved." He replied. "Did you gamble with Michael again?" I asked. "No." He laughed. "Come out!" He yelled.

My jaw dropped at who came out from behind the house. Before I ran, Ashton took Bryant from me. I ran to the girls, and hugged them tightly. "I missed you so much." I squealed. "What are you doing here?" I asked, finally pulling away. "Mr. Best Hubby over here invited us. Paid for everything. Hotel, flights, a car." Annelyy said. I smiled.

"So, we have some news to share." Kyla smiled. "About? Oh my, are you and Matt finally getting married?" I asked. "No, no. Not yet. But... wait, there's two things then." She replied. I looked at her. "One, Matt did propose." Annelyy smiled, showing me her ring. "How the hell did he afford this?" I asked. She smiled, and shook her head. "And... I am about three months pregnant." She said. My jaw dropped. "I thought you didn't want anymore!?" I exclaimed, hugging her. "Well, things happened, and things chained." She replied. I smiled.

"And, what about you?" I asked, looking to Nicole. "Same old thing. Miles is... a pain." She replied. "Is he here?" I asked. She nodded, and pointed to the little boy next to Ashton. "I don't think he remembers me." I laughed. "I'm sure he does." She smiled. "Come here baby." She said, holding her hand out. "He's the same age as Nicole, right?" I asked. She nodded, and picked him up.

"So, Brooke, how's you and Michael?" I asked. She looked to the ground. Annelyy shook her head. "Oh, what happened?" I asked. "Bad breakup." Kyla whispered. I nodded, and hugged Brooke. "I'm sorry." I whispered. She nodded, and hugged me back. "But hey, you're here with me, it's like work all over again." I said. She giggled, and nodded.

"And Ky, what about you?" I asked. She smiled widely. "Big news, that I can't say." She said. "What! Why?" I asked. "Because Calum is here, and his best friend is standing right here." She laughed. I laughed, and smiled. "Come on inside. I know you haven't seen the house yet." I said.

"Mummy, I'm hungry." Nicole said, pulling her shirt away from her body. "Okay, well, first, say hi to daddy, then go potty, and I'll make something. Did you wake up Jack?" I asked. She shook her head. I sighed.

"Who's this mummy?" Nicole asked. "You don't remember Aunt Anne, and Aunt Ky, or Brooke?" I asked. She shook her head. "How about Aunt Nic?" I asked. She shook her head. "You two have the same name." I said. "Really?" She asked. I nodded. "I named her after you." I replied. She smiled, and looked up at Nicole.

"Hey, I got the..." Michael started to say, but stopped. "Um, hey... Brooke." He said. "Hi." She whispered, looking down. "Um... Ashley Jackie's report card came in the mail." He said, looking back at me. "Good or bad?" I asked. "Take a look." He replied, handing me the mail.

"The only good grade she has is in gym." I said. Ashton looked at it as well, and sighed. "I can... uh... talk to her?" Michael asked. "Can you?" I asked. He nodded, and practically ran up stairs.

"Michael, can you hand me Jackie's lunch?" I asked. "Uh, yeah." He said, grabbing the sandwich and water off the table. "Brooke, can you go into the fridge, and get me orange juice?" I asked. She nodded, and walked to the fridge. Michael stood in her way, as she walked back. They moved side to side trying to get away from each other.

This has been going on for two days. I'm so tired of this. Not in my house. "For the love of god!" I yelled, dropping the sandwich onto the table. They both looked at me. "It's so obvious you two still have feelings for each other. Stop fooling yourselves." I said. "I don't know what you mean." Brooke said.

"I'm going to leave you two alone, and talk to Jackie about her grades. In the meantime, you two need to figure things out." I said, before walking out of the kitchen.

Michael's POV

"So... how've you been?" I asked. "Oh, besides the terrible pain in my heart, and the things that I still have of yours, just fine." Brooke replied. I sighed, and looked to the ground. "But I doubt you're hurting like I am." She snapped, walking away from me. I grabbed her arm, and pulled her back to me.

"I've been heart broken. You think I wanted to break up? No, I didn't. But I couldn't see you getting so much hate. I couldn't do it. I did the best thing for you. I am so broken since we broke up." I said. She gulped. "If you really were so heart broken, why go out with people? Get drunk?" She asked. "To drink away my pain. To forget about you. To try and move on. Nothing is helping, B. Nothing." I said, tearing up.

"But I'm sure you found a nice guy, who won't have people hating on you." I said. "I... I can't date." She whispered. I looked at her. "I'm trying. But I can't. Mike, I can't." She said. I walked closer to her, and took her hands in mine. "Ashley is right. We're fooling ourselves. I'm fooling myself, by telling myself I'm over you. Because, B, I'm not." I said. She shed a tear, and looked to the floor.

"You.. told me you never loved me." She whispered. I breathed out a laugh. "I know, and it was so stupid. Trust me, I was crazy then. I was. I was crazy to say that. Because that is not true one bit." I said. She sniffled, and looked up at me. "I'm so sorry for doing this to you." I whispered. She shook her head. "I let it happen." She whispered.

"Yo, what's up?" Calum asked, as I walked into the room. "We need to do the song. Now." I said. "What? Why?" He asked, getting up. "I told you why I wrote that song. So now, we're doing it." I replied. "We're not ready to perform it!" He yelled. "Well, get ready!" I yelled, grabbing my guitar.
