Why the rain makes me cry

The rain. You wont see them. All of it gets washed way. Too much of it gets washed away. I don't need him. Or anybody. I love nobody and nobody loves me. I'm treated like a monster. The rain is my only friend. The tears and the rain mmix together so you can never see them.

(Rhain's) POV

I walked back to my house. There was a little boy crying on the side of the sidewalk. I bent down to his level. "What is wrong child?" I asked him. He sniffled and looked at me and started to bawl again. A woman came running over to us. She saw her child crying on the sidewalk and glared at me. "What the hell do you think you are doing to my son?! YOU WITCH! GET OUT OF HERE! GO DIE!" she yelled at me and picked the boy up. The boy looked up at me from where his head layed on his mom's shoulder and started to cry again. I sighed and continued my journey home. I walked through the door but it was locked. I pulled out my key and unlocked it. Father forgets that I have a key and tries to lock me out almost every day I go out in the rain. My name is Rhain because it was raining the day that I was born and there were tears because my mother died. I killed her. That's what father said. So I now know why my mother isn't here anymore. I don't blame anyone for shunning me out of this community. It's only natural. The rain washes the pain and tears away. It's the only time I get to cry without being noticed. It helps me get rid of my emotions too. If I tried being normal people would only shun me even more. I don't car what anybody thinks. Not at all.

I walked n through the door and saw my father passed out on the couch. I pulled a blanket out and layed it on him and grabbed the empty beer bottles around him and threw them in the recycling box. I propped his feet up too so that he wouldn't get sore from the position he was in and making sure he didn't wake up or isn't comfortable I waked up the stairs. I made him some dinner. Even though he will probably throw it out and set it next to him with a note. I got to my room. I walked into my personal bathroom and pealed off my soaked clothes. I turned the water on and stepped in. I washed myself and got out. I fried myself and put y clothes on. I got on my bed which is only a mattress with a sheet on it. I turned the lights off and fell asleep.

(Rhain's Father's) POV

I watched as Rhain walked out of the house and I quickly locked the door. I walked back to the couch and pulled my beer closer to me. That girl gives me the creeps and she is my own daughter. I drank beer after beer until I just fell asleep. I installed new cameras to make sure that nothing would happen when I was gone or asleep. I passed out on the couch. When I woke up the next morning I was laying on the couch with a blanket over me. I looked around to see if anybody was in the room. I quickly checked the locked. "Good. It's still locked." I murmured. I went down to the basement to see what the camera footage picked up. I was shocked. I replayed it over and over. It showed Rhain unlocking the door with her key. "Damn I forgot she has the key." I thought. She walked over to me and layed me down correctly on the couch. She then went to grab a blanket and pulled it over me. She grabbed at the empty beer bottles and threw them in the recycling box and made me dinner. She set it next to me and walked up the stairs. I looked at the other cameras and it showed her walking into her room and into her bathroom. She then walked out and fell asleep. I looked in her room and noticed a picture frame next to her bed. It was her mother. "Why do you still take care of me without me noticing?" I asked out loud. I decided that I would talk to her. I looked out the window. It was raining again today. "She probably already left." I thought. I looked at the monitors again and saw Rhain tossing and turning on her bed panting and sweating. She then woke up startled and looked around quickly. She looked out the window and went to her bathroom and got dressed. She took her phone with some head phones and walked out the door and walked out. I looked at the other monitors. It showed her picking up my uneaten meal and prepare some bacon with some eggs. She placed it on the table and walked out the door into the pouring rain. While locking it. "She even locks herself out to make me feel comfortable. " I said. Nothing else happened. It showed me waking up and everything else.

Later that day it was still raining. No sigh on Rhain. I wanted to talk to her. I noticed her habit of leaving when the rain starts and coming back when it stops. I looked out the window. There was a knock at the door. It's been raining for hours. It's never rained this much here before. I was worried. "What is she never comes back." I thought walking to the door. I opened it and out neighbor stood there. She was an elderly lady and never treats Rhain bad. In fact she had been trying to fill in the roll as her parent taking care of her. "Rhain hasn't came back and I was wondering do you know where she is?" she asked. I shook my head. "Ahh. I seen It could be days until this rain lets up you know. She could be starving out there. She could die of pneumonia. I'm worried about her. Are you?" she asked me. I stood there for a minute. I shook my head no. "How can you call yourself her father?" she muttered. "I don't. I call myself cursed." I said. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "How can she put up with you? She doesn't deserve any of this!" she cried. "She killed my wife." I said. "She did not. Your wife and her MOTHER died because she couldn't take all the stress and strain her body was causing her." she yelled. "It was the stress and strain caused by that monster that killed her?!" I yelled. "You don't know? I thought you knew." she whispered. "What do I not know?!" I growled. "That isn't your child. Your biological child died. Because Rhain looked like you two soo much. Naomi adopted her to fill in the roll of your dead child. Thankfully it was a girl too. Because you didn't notice it. Your wife died soon later because of the amount of blood she lost because of your dead child. You were too blinded by anger." she sobbed. I stood there shocked. "Rhain.... Naomi" I whispered. I bolted out of the door running blindly trying to find my daughter.
