57. Train (A) 26/02

[lyrics]

I'm driving,
and I've got my path,
dipping and diving amongst the stars,
and the moon - judging, judging my art,
but its daunting daze won't pull me apart.

so let me take this train to the mountains
it's hard to climb but I'm
running over nightmares.

let the path decide my fate,
this train is mine
this train can't be late
your stare is persistent
but my carriages are full
I won't carry your weight if
it'll drag me within.

I'm driving,
and I own my own path,
I won't drive over lanes that are falling apart,
and mend them - it's not my part,
I'll follow the signs only if it's following my heart.

so let me take this train to the mountains
it's hard to climb but I'm
running over nightmares.

let the path decide my fate,
this train is mine
this train can't be late
your stare is persistent
but my carriages are full
I won't carry your weight if
it'll drag me within.

let the wheels rust under my feet
at least I'll be living,
at least I'll be me,
let the ground beneath me shake,
at least I'll know better
the next time I wake.

let the path decide my fate,
this train is mine
this train can't be late
your stare is persistent
but my carriages are full
I won't carry your weight if
it'll drag me within.
