amani, she was the stars. she didn't appear every night, but when she did she always managed to make the sky look beautiful. she always managed to make the darkness seem less frightening to someone who was afraid of the dark. she wasn't a single star, but a constellation. from the edges of her eyes, to the corners of her lips, to the dimples at the bottom of her spine, you drew her into orion or cassiopeia. but she couldn't really be defined by those constellations, because she was her own constellation. and you were the only one that could really see her.
