The word I couldn't say

He made so many mistakes but every time I looked into those big brown eyes I forgave him all over again.

67. Society

This series of writing will be based on my thoughts and emotions alone. What is to come and what has pasted. All though people say don’t dwell on your past. It’s a must. You lessons to be learn’t are hidden in your past life and what your encountered. how you failed shows you humanity. People expect young people like I to know where I am headed by the time I am 10th grade. To start making decisions on my future and what I want to make of it but they don’t realise that people at the age of 15 or 16 change their mind like a 2 year old deciding over which toy to play with. We toy with the things we might be successful at and then we toy with the things we enjoy. Our life decisions are based on a 15 or 16 year old mind. We are teenagers who are forced to worked just to get a head start in the real battlefield. To myself, it seems like we never have a chance to actually be teenagers or even kids. Our society today is killing people based on our race, religion and for being in the wrong. Kids today are forced to look their best because when they step out the front door they think the whole world is judging them for whatever reason that may be. These are kids who are only 5 years old and already see the world as a cruel place.

I am sick and tired of being treated so badly by society and I am so sick and tired of seeing other people being treated like a piece of rust when they are truly diamonds. Something has to change. We have to change. Change our mind set and our lives. The way we live and how we treat people around us. Its not healthy to hate everyone around you. I will admit I need to change myself and the way I act and treat people myself. I try and that’s the point of it all. I still try and make a difference. The real question is will you? As Martin Luther King jr said- “We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”

Everyone has a choice, a choice whether they stick to love or burden themselves in hatred. As humans, we must love each other for who we are because at the end of the day we are all brothers and sisters. We must love each other no matter what skin colour, no matter what religion or race. We must love each other no matter what mistakes me make and our we act upon them. We must love each other no matter what way we dress and simply look. We are meant to show love and unite together, show support for one another. We, humans aren’t cruel as we make out to be.

Nothing in the world is more dangerous then ourselves and nothing in the world can stop that than ourselves.
