Never Give In (Black Veil Brides FanFiction)

After a fatal car crash, Calypso is left with nothing but a suitcase, a decomposition book, pictures and some old letters. She lost the ability to hear on her left ear, and now she has a trembling hand and an extreme anxiety to almost everything.
Being underage, she must be taken to live with the closest familiar. She had none, but the letters revealed otherwise.
Her brother is in a famous band, and his name is Andy Biersack.
They are nothing alike. She's quite, he's loud. He's chessy, she rolls her eyes. She likes Superman, he likes Batman. Only thing in common? Writing meaningful and beautiful things. They both love pouring their hearts out in letters. She does it in poems and he does in songs. What's the difference.
But her brother is not the only thing she will come across.
She will fall into a world she had never experience. And she will learn one thing.
Never. Give. In.

A Female Copy With Green Eyes

Calypso

I fell asleep with the last letter clenched inside my fist. Crying, of course. I was not alone. There was somebody out there who was my father, somebody who who wanted to meet me but for years rejected to me. And somebody who didn't went after me. Somebody who cared more about money than me. Somebody who wanted to meet me to let his son, a.k.a my brother, had the right to meet him.

I stood up slowly, and did everything in slow motion. Standing up, heading to my power, picking up my suitcase and rucksack, going to the bathroom to take a decent bath, going to the kitchen, making my breakfast, eating the breakfast, and finding a note on the fridge.

CALYPSO, I HAD TO LEAVE. I HAVE IMPORTANT BUSINESS TO ATTEND AND I TRUST YOU WILL GO THE GIRLS' HOUSE. I HOPE YOU KNOW THE ADDRESS. -BRUTUS.

Okay, first of all. Why was all written in capital letters. Second of all, why he left me. And third of all, why he hoped I knew the address. I never had the need to know it so, of course I didn't know. And what was more important that an orphan? A beer?

I made a ball with the paper and threw it to the trash can. Perfect throw. Nice and smooth.

''I'm not going there,'' I said to myself.

I threw my rucksack over my shoulder and grabbed the letter I was using to get to where I needed to go. That Chris Biersack's house.

There I was standing in front of the house. I didn't know what I was going to do or what was going to happen but there I was. My heart was beating horribly and my hand as well. Okay, let's stop mentioning the hand. It is ALWAYS trembling.

I made my way to the white door slowly, and just when I was about to knock I jumped back, scared. There was somebody screaming inside the house.

''Dad if you don't tell me why we are here, me and Juliet are leaving! What the fuck is going on?'' It was deep, male voice.

''I can't tell you and I don't know what happened. I don't know where she's is!'' It was another male voice. Older.

''I'm done!''

There was a stomping feet and a girl scream calling for a boy named Andy.

The door opened and closed very fast. In front of me stood a boy. No, a young man. He had black hair and pale skin just like mine, but his right arm was covered with tattoos as well as the right side of his neck. He had more tattoos in his hands, and his eyes. His eyes were blue like the sky, and were staring into my green one.

The door opened again revealing a young woman and a man. The young woman opened her eyes wide. The man grinned at me and then looked at the young woman. She was staring at me. A woman appeared from behind the man. She had blond hair.

''Is she?'' she asked.

''Yes,'' the man responded. He then placed a hand on the young man's shoulder. ''Andy, this is your sister Calypso.''

Picture this. A girl sitting on a faded green house. A suitcase stand my the door and a rucksack is at her feet. She stared at the man in front of her while the young man stares at her like she was a recently discovered female in a extinct specimen. She just felt like the last one.

The young woman stood next to the other. the young one nodding and whispering back things only to be nodding again. The man stared at the two people sitting on the couch as he leaned on the wall next to the t.v.

And that scene was happening between me and the people I just met.

''Hum...are you okay?'' the young man, Andy asked me staring at my hand.

''It's a side effect,'' I shyly replied.

''Of what?'' he asked again.

''I guess it wasn't in the news.''

''Wait a second,'' the woman said as she left the room and headed to other side of the house. She came back a few minutes later giving some newspaper to her husband. The old man.

The old man examined the newspapers slowly and stopped at some pages. He gasped at some pages and covered his mouth with his hand the last time he stopped.

The woman nodded when her husband asked if it was all true. The woman next showed the newspapers to the woman with blond tips and brunette hair. She had the same reactions as the old man. Both Andy and I stared at them.

Andy. I didn't play hide and seek with him. I just met him.

''Is this her?'' the blond woman asked.

''Calypso Emmerson. Of course she is,'' the man answered.

''Could somebody tell me what's happening?''

Nobody was answering. They just stared at us. I knew he needed to know. He was my half brother.

I took the letters out of my pocket and handed them to him.

''Read them in chronological order,'' I said, then directed myself to Chris. ''I want the other ones. The ones my mother wrote.''

The man headed out and I hear footsteps in the stairs. It was no long before Andy stood up and headed upstairs. Second later it was a scream.

''HOW DARE YOU? EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY I HAD THE RIGHT TO MEET HER! SHE HAD THE RIGHT TOO. YOU DENIED HER MOTHER TO LET ME MEET HER ALL THIS TIME!''
