Alright now let us buy you both a drink and then we must leave because we have some rooms we have to search don’t we detective Larsen?

“Ja,’ said Britta who had been fighting the urge not to laugh.’

“No you are alright we are okay really; thanks we will get our own.

“What do I tell the lads once we get through customs?

Tell them that you were alerted by two detectives who told you to dump it overboard.’

“Right detective, we have work to do.’

The two girls got up and John made to kiss Britta but she held out her hand and John shook it.

“Thank you Greg; you have been most helpful in our enquiries.’

The two girls walked calmly away and then headed to their cabin. Once inside they fell on their bunks laughing.

Dani took out some cigarette papers and rolled two joints then lit them up.’

Dani Hansen you are incorrigible, you really are.

“I nearly wet my pants when you told them we were undercover police.’ Do you think they will tell their friends?

No way,’

“We can watch them leave tomorrow morning and then we just calmly walk out.

The girls sat and talked until the early hours then they both drifted off to sleep.

At seven o’clock the next morning they ate breakfast in the dining room; there was no sign of the group of lads that were watching them with Greg and John.

They picked up some fresh fruit and walked back to their room with it.

The King of Scandinavia docked at 8.45am and they looked out of the window to see Greg; John and the rest making their way to customs.

“Come on lets get our things.

They grabbed their bags then calmly walked off the ferry and through customs.

They put their helmets on then cycled up the road past the group of lads who were remonstrating with John outside of the bar restaurant. They went past unnoticed passed the newly built shopping precinct at the royal quays then headed into North Shields along Howdon Road.

They turned right onto Trinity Street passing the Bewick pub then headed onto the quayside.

Why have we come here asked Britta?

“My father told me to come and see it. Isn’t it beautiful?

“It certainly smells a bit said Britta as they passed some of the fish stores.
