“Where are we going said Gordon?

“Montague House Seaton Deleval; I hope you are all are tooled up because this could be a rough ride.

Fergie has a bag of goodies in his car; we have more than enough stuff to give Mr Worthington and his team a nice surprise.’

Mickey drove down towards the coast; he checked his mirror and Fergie was right behind him.

They drove past the ice rink in Whitley Bay then turned left into the town centre. Mickey drove round the one way system passed the amusement arcades then onto the promenade then headed towards the lighthouse.

Fifteen minutes later they cut the heavy chain on the gate to the large house in its own grounds. They had turned off the headlights as they drove up the pebbled drive way. Fergie took out a blow torch and cut through the iron grid on the door as the lads chose their weapons from the bag in the back of Fergie’s car.

Mickey gave the signal to bust down the front door with a heave lump of metal with handles. They rushed inside Gordon flattened the first guard with a pick axe handle and Albert Robinson knocked out the other big black guard with a whack from a hickory baseball bat covered in electrician’s tape.

Worthington jumped up in surprise as they burst into the drawing room of the house.

“What the hell is going on here asked Worthington as Mickey pushed him back into the big Chesterfield arm chair?

“You shut up and listen to me said Mickey.

“You set my friend up and he’s now lying in hospital with a broken jaw and a few busted ribs to boot. Now I’m telling you to you face; you stay away from Jeff and Dani as well.

“Isn’t that up to Dani to decide; look Mr McCabe I know you; I think we could do business together.’

Nigel Worthington opened a box of imported Havana cigars and used a gold pair of scissors cut the end of the cigar then lit it up with a gold table lighter on the smoked glass table. He blew smoke towards Mickey before speaking again.

“You are but a small fish in a big pond Mr McCabe; okay you have rallied a few troops here tonight but when you leave. I will take care of you and your friends.

Mickey walked towards Nigel Worthington and grabbed the cigar from his mouth then squashed it on the cream coloured carpet the smouldering end burnt a hole in the fibre.

“You listen and listen well; because the next time I see you I won’t be playing around.

“Really; you are out of your depth here and you do not know what you have got mixed up in.
