Finding True Love

Rosalinda is an angel on earth, in a sense. She has been living for hundreds of years looking for that one true love. She's been told that she will get a certain feeling when she spots her true love. What happens when she gets that feeling for a worldwide pop star.

5. Another Immortal

*The Next Day-Early Morning*
"This place isn't as bad as I thought it would be," Emilia says as we walk down the Las Vegas strip.
"Not at all. Also, our hotel room is amazing and there's a One Direction shop close by," I smile.
"Yeah, maybe we'll meet someone who's going to the concert that we can hang out with."
"That would be awesome," I smile as we walk up to the One Direction store. Then I open the door and we head inside.
We are inside for a few minutes before we strike up a conversation with a girl named Laurel. She has curly, long brown hair; brownish-blue eyes; kind of dressed up; five foot seven or so; almost 17 years old.
"So, are you going to the meet and greet tomorrow," I ask as I look for a cute shirt in my size.
"I am. Are you two?" Laurel asks as she starts looking at phone cases.
"We are, and we can't wait," Emilia smiles.
"Do you have a favorite?"
"Niall's my favorite. Though I like them all the same."
"Harry's the most attractive to me, but I love all the boys equally," I pull the shirt out of the pile and sling it over my arm. "How about you?"
"I like Louis. Though all the boys are very cute and nice, I'd want to date Louis."
"So, you think we could meet up before the meet and greet and go in as a little group? Same with the concert."
"Most likely. What's your guy's seats?"
I tell her and find out our seats are right next to each other.
"This is awesome," Emilia smiles as we go stand in the check-out line with our items.
"It is. So, do you guys come from England?" Laurel asks.
"We do. London to be exact," I say.
"I've always wanted to go there. In fact, I've graduated school and want to go over there to live for a little."
"Well I know a nice place to get an apartment. Fits anyone's budget and they come in all sizes."
"Well, could I come back to your guy's hotel and help me find a nice place. And a job. We should all try and get jobs at the same place."
"That sounds awesome," Emilia says. "Let's do it."
"It does sound good," I say. Very interesting as well. This girl, I feel something from her. Not a best friend feel, but another person like me. But she's not an angel.
*A Few Hours Later*

After we shopped at a few more stores, we decided to go back to the hotel. Mostly because we really wanted to find Laurel a nice place so we for sure know she's coming to London to be close to us.
"So you live in this complex as well?" Laurel asks.
"Yes," I say. "It’s very nice. So, are you getting that flat?"
"I think you should," Emilia states. "It’s very nice and very cheap. And the perfect size for a single."
"Okay," Laurel smiles. "Rosa, do your magic."
"I am very good at getting people places to live," I smile as I do the work to get the flat.
"So, now all we have to worry about is getting jobs."
"There's a nice little coffee shop downtown that's looking for employees," Emilia says.
"I saw that," I say as I push away from my computer. "It’s a nice little place that needs more customers. I think we could get the customers."
"Sounds awesome. We should try there first. I love making coffee," Laurel says.
"And it has lots of fresh sweets," Emilia says.
"I love baking," I smile.
"Can't wait to go apply for the job," Laurel says. "I hope we can all get the job. We’d have so much fun working together."
"We totally will," Emilia smiles.
"Before we get anymore into this friendship group we've created," I say, losing my smile. "I have a question for you, Laurel."
"And what's that?" Laurel asks. She also loses her smile, and in its place is a confused look.
"What are you?"
"I'm a human, crazy. Like everyone in this room."
"Wrong, and you know that. I'm an angel and Emmie has magic dust to help people in need. Now, I'll asks once again, what are you?"
She sighs, "I knew you guys felt different. And now I know why. As for me, I'm a fairy. Just your normal fairy."
"This is crazy!" Emilia squeals.
"Next thing I know, Liam and Zayn's girlfriends are also going to mythical creatures!"
"For all we know, they could," I say.
"Unless we meet them, we'll never know for sure," Laurel says.
"My life has taken a very big turn ever since I met you Rosa," Emilia sighs. "It’s amazing though. I do wonder if Taylor and Ariana are like you two," she points between Laurel and me.
Taylor is Zayn's girlfriend. She has black hair with the tips dyed blue: brown eyes; she's a dancer but also plays some professional soccer now and again; I've heard she's really shy around new people; mostly wears skirts or dresses; almost 19 years old; five foot nine.
As for Ariana, she's Liam's girlfriend. She has short, curly, dark brown hair; green eyes; very girly; always seen in heels; very popular with the fans; speaks English and Spanish (so I've read in magazines); 18 years old; five foot eight.
"One day we may meet them," I say. "I really hope they do. Because it'd be very interesting if they are like Laurel and I."
"Is anyone normal anymore?"
"There is no normal," Laurel says. "I think I'm normal and you're not. So there's no longer a normal."
Emilia sighs, "I guess you're right."
"Hey, let's go take our minds off of all that's happened by swimming," I say.
"But I don't have a swimming suit," Laurel says.
"I have an extra. We're all about the same size, so if you don't like one of mine Emilia has an extra as well. We should buy some later this week."
"We should."
"Enough. Let's get ready to go swimming! And then swim until we can't anymore!" Emilia shouts.
"Okay!" Laurel and I shout back.
This has day has been a pretty good one. I've made a new friend, and a lot has been talked about. How many people out there are like me? How's Emilia going to handle all this mythical creature stuff?
*The Next Day-Early Morning*
"I feel like a very stereotyped white girl right now," I say as I take another sip of my Starbucks coffee.
"Same here. But this is one of the only places to get coffee close to the meet and greet place," Laurel says.
"When does that start?" Emilia asks.
"Five hours, I think," I answer.
"Holy crap, are we going to stand in line that whole time?"
"We don't have to," Laurel answers. "But isn't that sort of the whole experience?"
"Pretty much," I sigh. "So when should we go get in line?"
"Very soon. Who knows how long the line is now."
"Girls are really crazy about those boys," Emilia says.
"They are. They really are."
*Five And A Half Hours Later*
I'm not really sure how much longer we are going to have to wait in line, but it'll all be worth it. "This is crazy," I laugh. Girls are all around us and will not shut up.
"It is," Emilia giggles. "Amazing at the same time, though."
"How much longer do you think?" Laurel asks.
"Not sure. Just depends, I guess. I hope it’s not too much longer," I answer.
"It’s not going to be," Laurel says as the line moves. "I can see where we go to get the picture taken. There's just a few more girls."
"Finally. This is what we've been waiting for."
