Torn Apart

After traveling the world to find figurines for a box that held secrets of the past, Rose has now been confronted by the one she can't remember. Tommy is Rose's boyfriend for a time that was stolen from her. Will he tear everyone apart?
(This is the last book in the Broken and Scarred, Pieced Together, trilogy.)

2. The Very End

*A Week And A Half Later*
"Only a little over a week until we can see each other," Mason says over the phone.
I smile, "Yeah. And you'll be happy to know that everything is going well here. Tommy is helping around at the animal shelter and everyone is fine with him."
"That's great. You still love me, right?"
"Of course I still love you. Tommy is just a friend."
"And lover from the past."
"We weren't lovers. Sure, we dated. But we aren't anymore. Stop getting mad at him for once dating me."
"I'm not mad," he chuckles.
"Oh really? Then I'd say you're jealous."
"I'd never be jealous of him."
"Then say it’s all right with me being friends with him."
"It’s all right. As long as you don't get to close to him."
"I won't. I'm only close with you," I giggle.
"You are so silly, Rose."
"I've been told."
He chuckles, "You been reading a lot?"
"Yeah. Whenever I have time."
"I've gotten you some books here, so be prepared."
"I have so many books already," I groan.
"I know you're kidding. You could never get tired of books. That would be weird."
"It would be weird."
"I've got to go babe. Talk to you later."
"I love you."
"I love you too. Bye."
*A Week Later*
"I see you still have your love for reading," a boys voice fills my ears.
I look over the top of my book and through my shades I see Tommy. "Yeah. It’s how I escape the world. What are you doing out here anyway?"
"I've come to take a swim. Is that alright?"
"That's fine. Just don't get me wet."
He smiles, "I won't. Promise."
A few minutes later Tommy is swimming around and I'm back to reading.
"So the guys come back in a few days," Tommy says.
"Yeah. You'll be able to get to know them a little better."
"They didn't seem to like me before they left."
"Don't worry about them. They'll warm up to you once they get to know you."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm pretty sure."
"Okay. I trust you."
*A Few Days Later*
"I missed you so much Mason," I wrap my arms around Mason's neck.
"I missed you too Rose," Mason whispers in my ear.
"How was the trip?"
"It was great."
"Lunch is ready," Kristy says. "Mason, Rose, let go of each other so you can come eat."
"We're coming," Mason calls back. "We can catch up later," Mason whispers to me.
"Sounds great."
*A Few Hours Later*
"It’s been three weeks too long," Mason gives me a quick kiss.
"We can't go too far, the whole household is in the living room," I smile.
"I wasn't going to go that far."
"So, tomorrow you'll be able to talk with Tommy. Are you ready?"
"I guess so."
"You can ask him whatever you want. I already know all I need to. He's a good guy and you better treat him like you would James or Alex."
"I will. Don't worry. He's just another guy to me now."
"Good. Now, where were we before I so rudely interrupted?"
"I think we were here," he connects our lips.
*A Few Weeks Later*

The last few weeks have been pretty good. Mason is okay with me being friends with Tommy. And Tommy has been telling me about my past that I've forgotten. Everything has gone back to normal. Tommy even has a job at the animal shelter.
"Excuse me miss," a ladies voice says.
"Yes, how may I help you?" I look up at the lady.
"I need help finding some books."
"Of course. Just tell me the author and I'll lead you right to them."
*That Night*
I'm walking back to my room from outside where I was enjoying the night air when I'm stopped by Tommy.
"Yes boy?" I ask.
"I understand that you'll never love me like you once did. So I want to do one thing before I move out."
"What? Don't move out. I'll miss you. We'll all miss you."
"I'm just moving next door. You'll see me every day."
"Fine. What do you want to do?"
"I want to give you a kiss. Will you let me?"
"Um, well, ah," I stutter. "I guess. I don't see why not."
"Good," he smiles. Then he gently grabs my face and connects our lips.
I feel sparks, there's no denying that. But it’s not the same awesome feeling I get when Mason kisses me. There's no doubt in my mind I was head over heels for Tommy years ago. But now, my head is taken by Mason.
He pulls away and smiles, "I love you Rose."
"I loved you Tommy. Not anymore. I'm sorry."
"No, it’s all right. As long as we can still be friends."
"Of course we can still be friends. You've still got a lot to tell me about my past."
"I'll see you later than," he smiles.
"I better."
*A Few Months Later*
It’s been one hell of a ride ever since I was saved off the streets. I've got amazing friends and one amazing boyfriend. There's no way my life would be the same if I wouldn't have become homeless. A terrible time in my life lead up to the best time of my life. And it’s still going on. There is no doubt in my mind that the rest if my life will get me to forget my terrible past. Even through the times where I was broken and scarred. The times where I'd get back up and piece myself back together. And the recent time where I got torn apart. This is my life now. My parents can't control me anymore. I'm going to be one amazing girl.

And that is it! I am sorry again that this box is so short. I completely forgot that when I wrote it I kind of gave up with the last book. Anyways, a new story will be out soon. :D
