I was never sure about unconditional love when you're a teenager, not for someone that isn't a family member or close friend, but I got proved wrong. Apparently you can have unconditional love for someone who you've only known for a month, the kind of love that won't fade through anything, even if you want it to.

12. Twelve

I never really had an obsession with anything, I like things, I enjoy them, but I've never been obsessed with a TV show or makeup or anything like that but this definitely feels like an obsession. In the least creepy way possible. I've never felt like this dating guys before but I just feel like I can't get enough of Jack. I make sure I spend a lot of time with my family still so they don't feel like I'm leaving them all the time but whenever I feel like I can get away from them to see him, I do. We talk all night on the phone as well and somehow we have so much to talk about. I just feel like I want to know everything and he seems to want to as well.

"Your family don't want to come riding tomorrow do they?" he says on the phone one night. It's half three in the morning but I don't feel tired yet.

"I don't know. I think they're leaning towards kayaking. Kind of worried that Cassie's going to try and drown me or something."

"You'd definitely beat her in a fight if it came down to it."

"I don't know. I feel like her pure hatred for me would give her the upper hand."

He laughs. "She doesn't hate you. She's just protective."

"She doesn't have a reason to be."

"I know that. She's just a major bitch."

I can't help laughing. "Don't. She's your sister."

"I know." he sighs. "Do you know what I like about you?"

"What?" I smile to myself.

"You take me out of the crazy family for a little while." he tells me. "I usually go a little insane out here with just them to hang out with. Like, Cassie's moody, Lilly's either obsessing over some guy or crying, Hannah's so loud and Tommy... well Tommy's alright actually. I just like having you here."

"I love all your family" I tell him. "Even Cassie. Her hair always looks good."

He laughs. "Silver linings."

"Exactly." I say. "That was nice of you to say though. I'm glad you like having me here."

"I really do." he says.

"Don't you have work in three hours?" I ask him and he groans.

"I do."

"Well I'm going to hang up then." I say and he chuckles. "Night."

"Night Jas."
