I was never sure about unconditional love when you're a teenager, not for someone that isn't a family member or close friend, but I got proved wrong. Apparently you can have unconditional love for someone who you've only known for a month, the kind of love that won't fade through anything, even if you want it to.

3. Three

I've always been an early riser and I know better than to wake up Mom and Natalie early so I decide to go for a walk around the place. I can't lie, of course I'm hoping to see the guy from the paddock yesterday. I just want to check him out, like was he actually attractive or was it just wishful thinking on my part? What did he even look like? All I remember is dark brown curly hair.

I get to the stables and there's no sign of him. There is a horse at the fence of the paddock though so I go over, stroking it. I used to ride horses when I was seven, my dad would take me to my lesson every Saturday and we'd get lunch afterwards. I stopped riding after he died and I haven't really been around horses since.

"Hey." there's a voice behind me and I jump, turning around. It's that guy and I'm nervous that I'm not supposed to be here but there's a gentle little smile on his face. Definitely as attractive as I thought.

"Oh, hi." I say, hoping that I don't sound as nervous as I think I do. "Sorry, I was just walking around."

"Oh no, don't worry." he shakes his head and then the corner of his mouth quirks up a little. "It's your vacation, right?"

"Right." I laugh a little too much and he walks past me, swinging himself over the paddock fence and putting some reins on the horse. My god. I have no idea what to do now. Will I look obvious if I stay? But will I look rude if I go?

"So you out here for a couple of weeks?" he asks, looking at me again before picking a saddle up off of the floor. I hope it wasn't obvious that I was staring.

"Uh, the whole summer actually." I laugh a little and he chuckles.

"It's going to be a fun summer."

"I honestly don't know whether you're being sarcastic or not." I say and he grins.

"Depends on what your idea of fun is." he shrugs, pulling himself up onto the horse. "Alright, well, see you around."

"See you." I say as he rides off.

I hope I do see him around.
