Secret's I'll Never Tell

"I know what your doing." Draco said, smirking at me.

"And what is that?" I answered, holding back a smirk.

"Admit it Nora. You want me." Draco said.

"Too bad that you might be right."

24. Chapter 22-Bye Beautiful

It was last period, and I was really excited for the party that Hufflepuff was throwing tonight. I was a little confused why Cedric hasn't brought it up, but I just shook it off. I was sitting at the table, taking notes as Snape talked about what our next exam would be on.

I heard the chair next to me squeak slightly, before feeling a warm breath on my neck. It sent shivers down my spine, and I had to bite my lip to keep from yelping.

"10 o'clock, tonight in the astronomy tower." Draco said in a husky voice. Oh my gosh that really turns me on. I was done denying I had a crush on Draco, because for one, it would never happen, and two, he's a horrible person.

"K." I said simply, right before the loud bell signaled class was over. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous, but it's just studying so nothing will happen. I was instantly dragged up to my dorm by Scarlet once I stepped into the common room. She was hopping up and down like a crazy person.

"Ok you need to tell me what all this is about." I tried calming her down, which, thankfully worked. She stopped bouncing up and down and took a couple deep breaths. I raised my eyebrows waiting. I threw my bag on my bed. It's Friday, and we had the whole weekend to do whatever. Tomorrow is Halloween, but the Triwizard champions are being chosen, and people won't want a party tomorrow.

"We need to choose our outfits!" She exclaimed. Oh crap she's coming. She started rummaging through my clothes, but I stood confused.

"Not to be rude, but who invited you?" She looked over at me and a dark blush crept onto her cheeks. I smiled knowingly.

"Fred did, didn't he?" I said. She nodded, unable to speak. I squealed excitedly.

"You lucky bitch!" I exclaimed. I went to my closet, and tried to find my costume. I pulled out my black leggings, and my long sleeve black shirt. Scarlet looked at me arm as I took off my long robes disapprovingly.

"How fresh are those?" She asked. I couldn't respond, too scared, so I just shrugged.

"A while ago." I said. Something about her facial features told me that she knew I was lying, but I shrugged it off and pulled my hair into a ponytail, and put on on my black combat. I know so many girls were going to be dressed super slutty tonight, but I am not that type of girl. Either was Scarlet. She wore her fluffy unicorn costume, and we headed off.

We met Hannah by the portrait, and she made us plug our ears as she said the password to open up the door. I entered, and was instantly surrounded by red solo cups and drunk teens. Wow. Scar and I exchanged glances. Who knew Hufflepuff threw parties like this.

"I'm gonna go find Cedric." I yelled over the music. Scarlet and Hannah nodded, and I saw Scarlet head over to where Fred stood with George by his side. We glanced at each other, and nodded, but turned away to go do our own things. I walked around for about half an hour with no luck. I searched everywhere, then decided I should go check the dorms. I asked too many boys to count where Cedric dorm is, and only one did. I thanked him, and ran off. I ran up the staircases quickly. As I ran, I felt my stomach turn.

Somethings not right, I thought. I found his dorm, and turned the knob.

I opened the door and revealed Cedric...with Cho Chang lip locking. Both their attention turned towards me. Cedric stood up to apologize, but I stopped him.

"It's okay." I lied threw a smile. "I knew we weren't meant to be. Best friends again?" I said, putting my pinky out. Cedric looked confused, but shook it off knowing I was a confusing person. He smiled his 1000 watt smile, and met our pinkies together.

"Forever." He said. I bit my lip to keep from holding back a sob, and nodded. Cedric turned away, and looked at Cho. I ran out of there, getting some confused glances along the way, but they were all ignored. Tears ran down my face as I ran around Hogwarts and up to my favourite spot in the whole castle. The Astronomy tower. I came to a sudden stop and started to walk slowly up the staircase. I was blown away by the view. The moon had already risen up into the sky to my surprise, and the black lake was shimmering. The waves small but the stars reflected in them.

Tears still ran down my face. I just needed to let it all out. George, Cedric, Draco, Snape, and I sat down at the edge and that's when I started full out sobbing. I felt the makeup running down my face, smearing everywhere, but I don't care. I didn't even hear the footsteps behind me when I heard someone sit down next to me.

"Go away." I said, shooing the person away.

"Hey." The person said softly. I froze in place. It can't be. I uncovered my hands from my face and saw Draco. He stared at me, his grey eyes searching mine. I had a longing to reach out to him. Gently pull his face towards mine, whisper 'I love you' 's, but that was only a dream.

"What's wrong?" He asked softly, concern clear in his eyes.

"Life. First George and now Cedric and I don't know what to do anymore I'm always being left and why am I even telling you this?" I said, letting it all out. He just shrugged, and intertwined our fingers. I felt the sparks shoot up my arm, and I couldn't control it anymore.

"You feel that too, don't you?" I asked, a bit nervous.

"Yeah." He said. He abruptly stood up, but tripped and landed on me. He started to smile, a real smile, causing me too as well. Those smile quickly turned into laughs. I didn't know what was happening, but I let it. I stopped laughing and looked him in the eyes.

Oh his eyes. A dark mysterious grey color that attracts every single person that has ever looked in them. They're a sea of mystery. It makes you want to dive in and sea everything in there.

He flashed his gorgeous signature smirk at me. Draco still laid on top of me, our lips not far apart

  "What?" I asked. He chuckled.

"I know what your doing." Draco said, smirking at me.

"And what is that?" I answered, holding back a smirk.

"Admit it Nora. You want me." Draco said.

"Too bad that you might be right." I said. He made the first move, and our lips connected.

He tasted of green apples and mint, too of my favourite smells. Our lips moved perfectly in sync, as fireworks erupted in our bodies. I ran my hands threw his hair, pulling at some parts. His hands trailed down to my waist, and slowly started to pull me up to a sitting position, never breaking the kiss.

It was pure heaven. Better than they ever described it. It's better than words. More than a feeling. I loved it. I decided to make a move and my tongue asked for entrance. He gladly accepted and we deepened the kiss. But sadly not for long because we both needed air. We pulled away, our foreheads still touching. I was panting hard, as was he.

"Wow." We both muttered simultaneously. He chuckled and I smiled. His laugh was beautiful and I loved everything about him. From his touch to his smell. We pulled all the way apart.

"I have to go. But we can continue this during our free period tomorrow." Draco suggested. I nodded and smiled.

"Bye Draco." I said happily. He smiled a genuine smile and we stood up. He cupped my face in his for a few seconds and dropped his hand.

"Bye beautiful." He said and pecked me on the forehead. He ran down the stairs and disappeared. I stood there, dazed. I pinched my shoulder to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

  I just kissed Draco Malfoy.
