Sara in Atlantis

Entering another world of magical mysticism, it was just like Alice going down the rabbit hole.

Sara fell head-first into land of Atlantis that was under the cruel reign of Poseidon. 12. Festivities and Peace

Chapter Twelve

Sara was allowed to leave after the nurse checked her head again.

Walking through the castle, she saw much celebration, but also a lot of rubble and dead bodies that were being dragged away for burial. Sara shuddered, and decided to visit the banquet hall where the queen was making a speech and a feast was laid out for everyone.

"... I am so glad that our seas and oceans shall finally know justice as of old. Never shall we allow such evil to deter our jovial ways. Now let's drink and eat and be merry! We have mourned our dead for three days, but nobody died for the sake of mourning but rather so that the future can be brighter. Here's to a golden era being born!" the Queen raised a glass of pink liquid and so did every other creature in the room. Suddenly, someone pushed Sara up to stand next to the queen, and, surprisingly, the warrior mermaid who liked riddles.

The queen beamed upon seeing her and shook her hand warmly before hugging her.

"It is all thanks to this little girl that we shall know freedom!" the Queen raised her glass, winking at Sara, a tear leaving her eyes. She whispered in Sara's ear, "Thank you for saving me and this kingdom, that curse was the bane of my life. If ever you need anything at all just stick your head into any source of water and call my name."

Sara nodded as the warrior grabbed her arm and led her out.

"I was always your friend; I just needed to test your wit after I had tested your bravery. You are one rare specimen. It was an honour to have known you. I am forever at your service. I believe we may meet again. I am Anahita." The warrior vanished leaving Sara dazed.

(This part wouldn't edit originally and I lost my back up files, I believe the story will still flow as its supposed to despite the missing events. Nobody is as sorry as I am about this.)
