Krystal ate her dinner as she quietly watched Justin across the table. Everyone was gone again and tonight was the 5th night in a row that he'd cooked her dinner. She had to admit, he definitely knew how to throw down in the kitchen.
“Can I ask you a question?” She spoke. It was just her and him again as he'd sent the others out on another mission, which she suspected was just so that they could be alone.
He met her gaze and smirked, “You just did.”
“Shut up,” She tossed an ice-cube at him, trying to hide her smile, “Anyway, how come you keep cooking for me and sending the guys out on mysterious missions that you haven't attended for 5 nights now?”
“Somebody's gotta stay back with you,” He shrugged and studied her quietly for a moment before a taunting smirk made it's way across her face, “And maybe I'm giving you time to earn it.”
“What makes you think YOU'VE earned it?” She challenged. He didn't say anything; instead he stood, making his way around the table to take a seat beside her as he took her fork out of her hand. He got a bite of food and slowly brought it to her mouth, watching the way her lips curled around the utensil as she tried to hide her smile.
“I have no problem working for what I want,” His voice was just above a whisper, “Just know, I always get what I want,” He slowly leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on her cheek, “And I want you, Sweetheart.”
“You want me for what?” She bravely asked.
“You'll see,” He gave her a sexy look before he leaned forward again, pressing his lips to hers gently, his tongue snaking out to trace her bottom lip. The kiss was interrupted in a matter of seconds as he heard the garage door and pulled away, immediately standing and picking up his plate to take to the sink. She sighed as she watched him, his face taking on that hard look again and his jaw beginning to clench the way she had become so familiar with any time anyone else was around. There was a part of her that couldn't help but feel giddy at the fact that he had a side just for her. From what she could tell, she was the only person in his life that got to see his softer side.
The guys rowdily made their way into the room, the adrenaline from the mission still working in full force on their bodies.
“How'd it go?” Justin asked.
No one spoke as Ty looked towards Krystal, “We're talking in front of her now?”
“I asked, how it went,” Justin gave him a look, signifying that he wasn't in the mood for his bullshit tonight.
“It went well,” Ryan finally spoke up, “We got nearly twenty thousand and about 7 or 8 white bricks. We dropped it off at the warehouse before we came back.”
“Good,” Justin nodded, bringing his hand up and wiping his mouth on the back of his hand, “Were there any problems?”
“We had to shoot one of Mac's guys,” Deion spoke, “Otherwise it was a clean in and out.”
“What were Mac's men doing there?” Justin frowned. Mac was someone that was supposed to have been in alliance with them. He had his own territory and they'd agreed to their own boundaries and territories long ago.
“Apparently, Mac's switched sides now,” Deion shrugged and made his way to the island, taking a seat, “I'm sure it won't be the last time we run into him or his guys.”
“I imagine not,” Justin frowned, wondering what kind of issues this would bring about for them, “We need to get in touch with Lil' G and make sure he's still honoring our agreement. You'll go tomorrow night, Ty.” Tyrone nodded as Alex made his way to the table and took a seat next to Krystal, reaching over and pulling a noodle off of her plate, placing it in his mouth and offering her a smug smile.
“Ass,” She rolled her eyes with a smile. They always fooled around like this now that they'd become at least semi-okay friends. Both of them jumped in surprise when Justin slammed his hand down on the table in front of them and met Alex's gaze.
“You can go now, Alex,” He spoke through gritted teeth. Alex gave him a surprised look and stood, making his way out of the kitchen, a bit surprised at Justin's obvious anger toward him. Justin looked at Krystal, “Take the rest of your food to the room. I'll be there in a minute.” She cocked an eyebrow at him, but did as he asked, making her way out of the kitchen, plate in hand, as she headed towards his room.
Justin met Ryan's gaze as soon as she was out of earshot, “I'm taking her out tomorrow. I want a full tank of gas in the Range Rover.” He fished the keys out of his pocket and tossed them to Ryan as Ryan nodded, agreeing to fill up his truck. Without another word, Justin made his way out of the kitchen and towards his room. He entered and shut the door behind him, locking it as well. He met her gaze from across the room as she was sitting on the bed, the plate in her lap. Without a word, he made his way towards her, moving the plate to the dresser and crawling into the bed from her side, pulling her down into a laying position with him as he wrapped his leg around her and found her lips.
“What were you mad at downstairs?” She pushed him away slightly, meeting his gaze.
He dropped her gaze, debating whether he should tell her or not and then finally speaking, “I don't like Alex flirting with you. I don't want anyone flirting with you.”
She cocked a confused eyebrow at him, “Alex wasn't flirting with me. He's the closest thing I have to a friend around here.” He pushed away from her and sat on the edge of the bed, breathing to try to keep his anger in check. She realized what she said and scooted closer, leaning against him and resting her chin on his shoulder, “You're more than a friend, Jay.” She whispered, “You weren't included in what I just said.”
He turned towards her, placing a light kiss on her lips and then holding her gaze, “You wanna get outta here and get your nails done tomorrow?”
“Seriously?” A smile immediately made it's way across her face and he nodded, “Yes. Please, yes! I've been here for over 2 weeks and I really, really, really need a fill.”
“You gotta promise me you won't run,” He searched her eyes for any indication that she would take off.
“I promise, I'm not going to run, Jay,” She spoke softly, “Even if I wanted to leave, I have nowhere to go.”
“Does that mean you don't wanna leave?” He studied her face, looking for any trace of her being untruthful.
“If I wanted to leave, don't you think I'd have tried to escape by now?” She didn't drop his gaze, “I'm not a meek little girl like everyone thinks, Justin. I can handle myself. I could've stabbed you that night if I'd really wanted to. Everyone always underestimates me, but I've been doing this since I was 15. The only reason Jerome kept me around as long as he did is because he knows if I was against him, I could take him out.”
He wasn't sure he believed her, but he played into it anyway, “Then why didn't you get out before? And how come you didn't go out on missions?”
“I didn't wanna be alone,” She sighed, “And I haven't needed to since I met Dee. Jerome and I both thought it best that when he started the gang, no one really knew anything about me if I ever wanted out of that part of everything.”
“Then why haven't I heard of you?” He studied her face, she didn't seem to be lying.
“My last mission was 7 years ago,” She licked her lips, “2 days before I met Dee and recruited him into the gang. I killed 6 men that night. By myself.”
“Yeah right,” He gave her a look, not sure he believed her.
“I might be a little rusty,” She chuckled, “But I'll show you if you want. Line everyone up, including yourself and let's see how long it takes me to get outta here.”
“I have a hard time believing you'd be able to get through just me,” He chuckled.
She moved, straddling him and staring down into his eyes, “If I didn't mind hurting you, I'd show you right now. Your locks on the door downstairs? Child's play. It would take me less than 2 minutes to get out of here and you'd never even know I was gone.”
“Okay,” He pulled her closer to him, a smirk on his lips, “I'll bite. I'm stronger than you by a long shot. Let's play. See if you can get outta the same grasp I had you in that night.”
“Okay,” She agreed, “But I'm not really gonna stab you this time.” He chuckled and leaned forward, placing a kiss on her lips, “No. We're doing this,” She pushed him away, a smirk on her lips, “Since you don't believe me.” She moved off of him and stood, pulling him into a standing position with her. She held her wrists out to him with a smirk, waiting for him to grab her wrists with the same strength he grabbed her with the night he kidnapped her, “You ready?” She wiggled her eyebrows at him, once he held her with as much strength as he figured he'd need to keep her there.
“Yup,” He had a challenging look on his face. She winked at him and quickly twisted herself so that she was in between both of his arms, her back against his chest, she looked backwards and placed a light kiss on his lips as her next few motions began to play out. She lifted her hands, bringing his with and quickly twisted her arms as her left foot reached out behind her, knocking him over and as he stumbled towards the ground, his hands automatically let go of her. Before he even hit the floor, she was straddling him, holding a pretend knife to his neck.
“Believe me now?” She looked down at him with a smile.
He leaned up on his elbows, “That was just luck,” he spoke.
“You think?” She gave him a crooked smirk and stood, pulling him with her, “C'mon. I don't wanna hurt you, but I have no problem laying your friends out.” She took his hand, leading him out the door and down the hallway, knocking loudly on all of the doors on either side of her. They were all quickly at attention.
“C'mon, y'all,” Justin was still chuckling to himself as he motioned them to follow with his free hand.
“Where are we going?” Ty complained.
“Baby Girl has something to show us,” Justin watched her, not exactly sure what to expect, but knowing that the next few moments were going to be interesting to watch.
“Line up,” She instructed, pushing Justin into a recliner to watch. She walked towards them and glanced back at him, “I'm not breaking the lock cause it'd just cost money to fix it and it's not worth it just to show you this.”
“Go 'head,” He smirked, still not completely believing her, “Break it. Show me you can get out. IF you break it, we'll fix it tonight.”
“Okay,” She shrugged and turned her attention back to the 5 guys lined up in front of her, obviously annoyed and not knowing what they were doing standing in a line, “I apologize in advance,” She spoke to them, “And I promise to try not to really hurt you.”
“Like you could,” Ty gave her a cocky look and just happened to be standing at the beginning of the line.
She shrugged and looked back towards Justin, “Ready?”
“Go 'head,” He chuckled, awaiting the humor of the situation. She took a deep breath and the moment she turned back towards the line of guys, her arms were around Tyrone's neck and she was body slamming him to the floor, her elbow immediately hitting his temple and rendering him unconcious as her legs intertwined with Deion's knocking him to the floor unknowingly, her fist connecting with the underside of his chin the second her arms left Tyrone. Her legs, once again tangled between Alex's and yanked him backwards. She grabbed onto Carey's legs with her arms as she knocked Alex unconscious with her heal and as she was bringing Carey to the ground, grabbed Ryan with her legs, twisting his knee backwards and causing him to fall. She somehow maneuvered her legs so that they were around Ryan's neck as she put Carey into a sleeper hold, causing him to lose consciousness as well.
“I actually like you, Ryan, so I'm not gonna knock you out,” She spoke to him, standing and immediately heading down the stairway towards the door, Justin stood in shock and quickly ran to the stairway, watching her deactivate the lock within a minute and open the door without setting off any of the alarms, “And I didn't even break a nail,” She examined her nails and met his gaze with a satisfied look on her face, “Believe me now?” He watched her for a moment, not speaking as his mouth hung slightly open. He wasn't sure what he just watched, but his fear now was that she would run. He continued to watch as she shrugged and turned towards him, making her way back up the stairs and past him.
“Wait,” He fell behind her as she walked into the living area, “You can do all that and Jerome DIDN'T have you out on the missions?”
“I told you,” She stopped once they reached the living area, “I wanted out.” She glanced around at the chaos she'd caused, 3 of the 5 men still unconscious and Ryan was the only one in a sitting position rubbing his neck with a frown on his face.
“What the fuck WAS that?” Ryan looked up with a frown. She chuckled and continued on her way towards Justin's room, him following quickly behind without answering Ryan's question. They reached his room and he shut the door behind them, fully intent on grilling her about everything that had just happened and her life that had led up to her being able to do that. He joined her on the bed. She watched as he opened his mouth to speak and then frowned, closing it again as if he wasn't sure what he wanted to say.
She rolled her eyes, “I'm still me, Justin.”
“How did you – I-I mean, what in God's name?” He gave her an exasperated look.
“I told you, I've been in this life a really long time and I was taught by the best,” She sighed, “I don't want to have to fight like that anymore. If the situation downstairs were real and I had had a gun, they'd all be dead and it would be 5 more bodies on my hands.”
“But,” He started, a frown laying across his features, “I'm the best. I'm better than anyone within a 75 mile radius. Hell, probably farther than that and I taught my guys to be the best too. You're better than me.”
“I'm not,” She shook her head, “Cause that's not who I wanna be anymore. I didn't do this to show off. I was simply showing you that I could have left the minute I got here if I wanted to. That's probably why Jerome hasn't come looking for me, because he knows if I really wanted out, I'd be back there.”
“I gotta be honest,” He shook his head slightly, trying to get a hold on the situation, “I don't know whether I should love you or fear you right now.”
“Well, if it's up to me, I'd prefer the love,” She shrugged with a smile, “I told you, Justin. I'm out of that life. I don't wanna do it anymore and I wouldn't hurt you. If I wanted to hurt you, I would've done it the night you kidnapped me.” The longer he sat and thought about what had just happened, the more he found himself getting turned on by the situation. He licked his lips and situated himself, due to his pants getting a little tighter with each passing thought.
“The fact that I just watched that happen and the thought of what you could do is actually really turning me on right now,” He chuckled, his cheeks blushing a crimson color.
She bit her lip and crawled into his lap, straddling him and wrapping arms around his neck as she looked down into his eyes, “Have I earned it yet?” She asked in a whisper. He let out a low growl, grabbing her backside and grinding her into him, pulling her body as close to his as possible as he captured her lips in a hungry kiss. He licked along her bottom lip and she opened her mouth, allowing him access as his hands slid under the back of her shirt, lightly tickling the skin. Her hands mingled in the hair at his nape and she let out a soft sigh as their tongues danced. They were startled when Justin's door swung open heavily, hitting the wall behind it. They both immediately turned to see who had interrupted them.
“What. The. Fuck. Was. That?!” It was Ty and he looked very angry.
With a sigh, she crawled off of his lap, sitting beside him again, “I was proving something. Sorry.”
“How did you even do that? And all of us? What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you superhuman or something?!” He looked to Justin, not giving her a chance to respond, “And the door lock is busted! I'm not staying up all night to make sure she doesn't escape!”
Justin let out a low chuckle and put his arm around her, meeting Ty's gaze, “Don't you think, if she really wanted to leave, she could? She took all 5 of you out and got around the lock on the door without even tripping the alarm, Ty.”
“How?” The frown on Ty's face deepened as his eyes shaped themselves into slits.
“It doesn't matter,” She looked away, “It won't happen again. Like I said, I was just proving something.”
“I wanna know how you did it!” He took a step towards the bed, forgetting Justin's presence for a moment, his fists clenching and unclenching at his sides as he fought the urge to hit her.
Justin immediately knelt in front of her on the bed, meeting Ty's gaze and putting on his stone look, “Back off, Ty. It's not your concern.”
“We kidnapped the enemy, Justin,” Ty held his gaze, attempting to reason with him, “And it turns out, this meek little girl that everybody's been so protective over could kill us in a span of 2 minutes. She's overpowering us and it's only a matter of time before this backfires and we're either all dead or we've lost everything!”
Justin tried not to let his resolve fade, but Ty was right. She really was the enemy and as much as they had been playing around the last few weeks, this girl could destroy them, “Get out,” He spoke through gritted teeth, not dropping Ty's gaze. Without a word, Ty made his way out of the room, slamming the door behind him. Justin turned back to her and studied her for a minute, still unable to grasp it all. He knew that this could end up being the worst thing that ever happened to them, but when her eyes met his, his resolve immediately faded and he knew in that moment that he wanted every inch of their naked skin to connect. Without another word, he pushed her back on the bed and slid in between her legs, covering her body with his as he captured her lips and grinded his hips into her. His hands roamed hungrily up and down her curves, slipping underneath her shirt as she grabbed hungrily for his back.
She stopped him after a moment, “Wait,” She whispered, looking up into his eyes, “I'm not the enemy, Jay. I'd never hurt you and I'd never let anyone else.” He was out of breath as he searched her eyes for any sign that she was lying to him and he didn't find one. He wanted more than anything to believe her words in this moment, but he knew his trust had been broken too many times this way; he couldn't afford to let everything fall apart because he was falling in love.
“Shhh,” He whispered, nudging her lips with his, “It doesn't matter.” He knew that he wouldn't be able to let his walls down, especially now, until she proved her loyalty to him, but in this moment, he needed her. He needed to feel every single inch of her body. It had grown long past a simple want for her and he knew that tonight, there was no turning back. Without another word, he pulled her into a sitting position and lifted her shirt over her head before he tossed his own to the floor as well. He didn't drop her gaze as he stood and undid his pants, pushing them to the floor, as well as the boxer-briefs he wore. He crawled back onto the bed and pushed her backwards onto the pillows, sliding his fingers into the waistband of her sweat-pants. She lifted herself, allowing him to pull them completely off of her. Once they were removed, he resumed his position on top of her, falling between her legs. His eyes silently asked for her permission to continue and she nodded, reaching up to pull him back down to meet her lips as he pushed himself inside of her. Neither had had time to think about a condom, but Justin knew he wouldn't have wanted anything separating them anyway. If tonight was the first and only time he ever had her, he wanted all of her. He pushed himself all the way inside of her, grinding his hips against her as she moaned through the kiss.
“You feel so good,” She breathed, breaking the kiss and leaning up to bite his neck lightly.
He let out a low growl and pulled himself back out of her before sliding inside of her once again, “Show me how you like it, Baby.” He whispered against the skin on her neck. She moved her hands to his backside and began to grind her body against him as she guided him with her hands. It wasn't long before he found the rhythm and her moans let him know that he was pleasing her. It was only a matter of moments, him lost in the feeling of her, before he felt her start to grip him as her moans grew urgent. He smiled, letting himself pour into her as they reached their climax together. He reached behind him with his right hand, grasping her left and bringing her hand up to rest on the pillow next to her head as he intertwined their fingers together and met her gaze. Both were still out of breath as they just stared at each other. She swallowed hard, knowing that after this moment, there was no way she would ever be able to leave. She hadn't felt this in love with anyone for a very long time, if ever, and she was sure it was going to be the death of her. His thoughts, quite similar, as he stared into her blue-gray pools. He'd swore to himself the last time he lusted after a girl that he'd never allow himself to fall in love, but he knew in this moment that he was, in fact, madly in love with the woman before him and he knew that there was nothing he could do to stop her from destroying him.
