It has to be perfect. If it isn't she won't say yes.
My bowtie was straight and my hair was- well my hair. I don't really need to do anything to it. I told her to meet me there rather than me bring her with me. I'm not even going to eat with her first. No matter how horrid that sounds, I want it to be a surprise. A spontaneous shocker, then when she says yes we'll eat. I told Lily to make her wear a dress or something nice. People are going to be at the Three Broomsticks like it was any other night. But tonight's the night I get engaged.
(A/N: if she says yes...)
I arrived at the Three Broomsticks 15 minutes before Sabrina. Just to get everything ready. And by everything I mean I sat there for 15 minutes with a ring box in my hand at the back of the pub waiting for the door to open. A lot of the people there kinda got the idea of why I was there after they looked at me. Especially the bartender. He gave me a look and called me over. I raised my eyebrowns in confusion and slowly approached the counter. "Take this." He handed me a bottle of Champagne.
"Isn't this illegal?"
"You didn't get it from me, and I never seen you drink any."
"Thanks. God, I hope she says yes."
"If that's her, I hope she says yes too, you'd be a lucky man." He gave me a friendly smile, turned me around and pushed me toward the table. She was looking in the window for me. I slowly slithered up into my chair, seeing as I had fallen on the floor. The bottle didn't break, so I put it on the table too. She smiled at me and waved as she walked through the door. When she sat down I got off of my chair and didn't hesitate on opening the little, black, velvet box in my hand.
"Sabrina, will you marry me?"
Her eyes filled with tears as she looked at my face and to the ring. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I'm not who you think I am." She whispered. I cocked my head to the side.
"Who are you then?" I questioned.
She took her wand out of her purse and said, "Close your eyes."
When I opened them I saw "Mel?"
