"Clem!" I shout from the living room couch. "Hun, come here." My daughter, Clementine, comes running out of her room, smiling. Clementine was once a very popular Abnegation name, and it is one of my favorites.
"Yes, mommy?" Her somehow hazel eyes stare up at me. Both Tobias and I were surprised to see our daughter with amber/hazel eyes, but we believe it was from my side of the family.
"Do you want to come with daddy and me to work tomorrow?" Tobias and I are training initiates together this year, and it is my first year. We're not doing much, considering that Tobias would be doing most of the work.
"Yes, please!" She squeals, jumping and falling. She starts giggling, playing with her very dark brown hair. I laugh, going down to the ground to play with her. She's only 2, the same age as Christina and Will's daughter, Skylar. Chris and I gave birth only 1 hour apart in June.
We play for a while, and I start making dinner when Tobias gets home. I kiss him quickly, and hand him our daughter. "Go play with her," I told him, and they went to her room. I'm making some casserole, a simple dinner. I don't cook much, but I do know how to.
"Tobias, bring Clem out here. And yourself!" I shout, setting out plates for him. I put mine in a take-out container, and into a bag. Clem comes out in Tobias' arms, and I give her a kiss.
"Bye, hun. Mommy gotta go to work!" I work with Christina at the tattoo parlor. I take the night shift to earn some extra money, and there aren't as many customers at night.
"Bye, Tris." He kisses me, and I wave goodbye as I leave the apartment.
