I walked into the library and put down my backpack, opening my history book.
I had a huge middle of the year test tomorrow and I have to pass. This is probably the most important thing before college! And I have to finish my applications. It is only November, but I need to work hard.
I read through the book and studied for at least 1 hour before I had football practice.
4:55 the clock read
I put my books back in my bag and got up, walking out of the library
"Calummmm, stopppp" I heard someone whine and I looked behind me. Calum sat there poking a girl on the cheek. She had lavender hair and A few piercings.
I've heard of her. Cleo I think. Bad girl of the Juniors. Calum's best friend. Her average for all subjects is a F- and she has ditched school MANY many times.
"Hey Lucas, where ya going?" Calum asked and I sighed. Me and Calum, not friends. Not even close
"Football..." I said quietly and kept walking. I heard him yelling stuff at me but ignored it
"Hey Luke" Ashton said running up to me. Ashton was my best friend. So I didn't mind
He threw me my jersey and I picked up my football bag, and walked in the locker rooms. After I changed into my head I ran out with my helmet.
"MR. HEMMINGS. Is there a reason why we are late today?" Coach asked
"Um, I have a test tomorrow?" I said like a question. Trying to show him that I wanted to day 'how the hell do you not know this?'
"Oh. Well, I'm sorry. THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT! WE ARE PLAYING ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS HERE IN AUSTRALIA! SO YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THOSE DAMN BOOKS!" Coach yelled
"Well, I'm sorry" I said ". But coach, if I was gone... What would you do? I am the best on the team, after all " I said and smirked
" HEMMINGS JUST GO TO YOUR POSITION" he yelled and I shook my head, chuckling at what he said.
"Gosh that coach can be a di*k." I whispered to Ashton as we did the play.
