The morning I woke up Nora was still fast asleep, and her sleeping form was beautiful. Her red hair was covering her face, and as she moved I smiled. I sat up to find Castor in the doorway, and he was still in his pajama’s. I sat up motioning for him to come here, and as he walked up Nora turned over in the bed. I picked him up sitting him in my lap, “Mommy’s still sleep?” I nodded rubbing my eyes, “Don’t wake her up buddy. How about I cook you some breakfast?” He smiled jumping to the floor, “I’ll be in the kitchen.” I laughed as he skipped out of the room, and as I climbed out of bed my vision blurred a little. I shook it off making my way to the bathroom, and as I started to shower I heard footsteps. I looked into the room to see a shadow, but when I walked back into the room there was no one there.
Something did catch my eye, an envelope. It was sitting on the table beside the bed, and I walked over to it picking it up. It was a very beautiful envelope, it was sealed with a gold stamp of a bird. It had my name on it, and I opened it I looked over the words. “ Lord Iron, It would be an honor to have you aboard our voyage.” I looked at the bottom, and it had a warning. “Warning, I tell you that this voyage is not normal.” I heard a groan sound through the room, and I looked over to Nora staring at me. “You’ve been invited to go on a voyage?” I nodded making my way toward the bathroom, “Yeah.” I striped off my clothes sitting the letter on the counter. “Who sent it to you,” she said as she walking into the bathroom. Her eyes looked over my body, and stopped at my crotch before she turned them to the letter. I climbed in the shower letting the hot water hit my body. I let my body relax under the hot spray, and as it ran over my head I heard Nora leave.
I showered quickly, it must have taken me at least thirty minutes. I looked in the mirror at my now wet hair, and watched the water flow down my body. After I got dressed I made my way downstairs, and as I did Nora called me. “Yes,” I replied walking into the kitchen where she stood. “Castor’s still waiting for you to cook something for him.” I walked up beside her where she was cracking eggs. “Well, what did he say I would cook him?” She smiled as I kissed her cheek, “Well, he said that you said that you would give him some ice creme.” I laughed as I went to the fridge grabbing a piece of ham. “You need to go Iron, the voyage begins in a few minutes.” I cleared my throat, “I haven’t even packed any luggage.” “You don’t need any,” she replied swiftly.
I hadn’t say that part on letter, “I don’t want to leave you here alone with the twins.” She smiled as she put the eggs in the frying pan, “I’ll be fine, and plus your father is coming here today anyway.” I walked over to her wrapping my arms around her waist, “ I’m gonna miss you baby.” She laid her head on my shoulder looking up at me, “I’ll miss you too now go.” I stepped away from her, and she turned to me. “Tell Castor I’ll give him some ice creme when I get back.” She nodded and I watched as the room slowly faded into black.
I appeared on a ship, a ship that was defiantly not new. It looked old, and as I looked over I was met my a woman. A woman that was very pale, “Welcome to the Voyage.”
