It’s been a year since I met Nora, my wife, and the mother of my children. It’s been calm in the new life we got. Pollux and Castor just had their first birthday, but something’s been up with Nora. “Iron, do you know where Castor is.” I was snatched out of thought by Nora’s sweet voice, “Isn’t he in the living room?” She shook her head, and a little laugh came from under my desk. I turned to my desk, “I bet he’s hiding under there.” Nora smiled brightly as she walked around my desk, and it became brighter and she picked up Castor. “Don’t scare mommy like that again.” “Sorry mommy.” She lowered him to floor, and as his small feet him the ground he took off. “I swear he takes after you,” She walked up to me wrapping her arms around my neck. I let my hands rest at her waist, “Honey, is everything okay? You’ve been different the last few days.”
She tensed but then relaxed again, “I’m fine, it’s just I’ve been remembering things.” “What kind of things,” she looked into my eyes, “tell me baby.” She lowered her eyes, “Do you remember the day when the house was broken into.” I nodded, “Of course I do. I did get a good cut to the stomach.” She smiled, “Well, before I called you. I had down something.” I cocked an eyebrow, “Dita told me nothing about you doing anything, even though she was a traitor.” Her muscles tensed, “ I blacked out. when I came to I was standing over dead body of a wolf, and my hands were covered in blood.” I ran my hands up her back, “You don’t remember anything?” She shook her head, “I can only remember bits a pieces, very gruesome bits and pieces.” I kissed her softly, “You’ll remember soon, but what were the bits and pieces like.” She cleared her throat, “Well I could remember ripping through the monsters flesh without hesitation. The feeling of blood on my hands.”
Before I could say anything a face I had never seen before entered the room. Nora migrated behind me as the man got closer. He was rather a large man, and judging by his scent he was human. “May I help you?” He nodded, “Indeed you can, my name is Jordan Stone. My father has sent me here.” His eyes flashed a bright yellow, and I caught a scent I knew way to well. Banshee. “You’re wearing a little bit of vonalli. I see your father has taught you well.” He nodded handing me a black envelope. Vonalli was a scent changer, it’s mostly used by banshee’s of wolves. To the wolves it’s wolfsbane. “Thanks you may leave now,” he shook his head, “my father told me not to leave this room.”
I smiled laughing slightly, “Well, I’m telling you to get the hell out of my house.” He stepped a little bit closer to me his eyes turning yellow, “Don’t make me hurt you mortal.” He flinched as he saw my eyes go black, “I’m not really that mortal as you assume me to be.” He stepped back as I stepped foreword, “I could kill you and your entire family just for fun demon.” He ran out the door before I could say another word. As I turned I saw Nora sitting behind my desk, “You know that’s my seat.” She smiled brightly, “How about you sit down, and I’ll sit in your lap.” “Deal,” she got up and let me sit down before setting in my lap. I looked at the black envelope before tearing its seal. As the beautifully written words came into view Nora moved in lap. “Iron, We need to talk. This is not a form of asking. Either you come or we will force you to. Yours Marque Stone.” Nora looked down at me, “What’s that all about honey?” I shrugged, “I actually don’t know, but I will find out.”
My blood was boiling, I was utterly pissed off. Cries filled the house and Nora slowly lifted off of me. I grabbed her waist pulling her back down placing a kiss on her lips. She moaned before pulling away, “Later.” She rushed into the next room, and thats when I felt the blood running down my arms. “So, you have people ordering you around now?” The small voice made my anger grow, “No, and I’ll make sure of that.” I walked to the window, “Darkness that’s at my command, cover the sky, meet my demands.” The sky slowly started to fill with dark clouds, and lighting started to strike. Blood was dripping onto the floor, and it was sinking right through the floor.
“You feel the power Iron. You feel my power?” I felt power, so much power coursing though my veins. This was the first time in a year that I was in this state, and I was loving it. I couldn’t describe how good it felt to be able to feel this, but the anger that was coursing through me made it challenging. I could hear that small voice in head repeating the words from before. Fueling my anger, and I knew my eyes were black. “Damian,” “yes Sire.” I’m coming Marque, “Bring the car around. We’re going on a road trip.”
