The ride to their house was a short one seeing that Damian was driving. The car came to screeching halt, and I looked out the window to see a huge mansion. It wasn’t bigger than mine, but it was a decent size. I climbed out of the car, and as I did I met by three men that I recognized. They were hellhounds, hellhounds that my father knew. “Did dad send you,” all of three nodded at the same time. I was taller then all of them, and I was even taller than my father. I made my way to door. Before I could nock the swung open to reveal a woman. She was really short, so short that she barley stood up to my chest. Her hair was dark and hung to her waist, and her big green eyes studied mine. “This way Mr.Iron,” She started walking down the hall. I followed her at a good distance, and I could sense the hellhounds not far behind.
The hallway was dark, but I could see perfectly. The girl made a left, and as I turned I was met by the most hideous creatures I had ever seen. Banshees. They’re faces deepened with wrinkles, holes deepened in their flesh revealing their yellow teeth. Gray hair fell to their shoulders, and what set it off was a set of red eyes. I ran my hands through my hair, “I see you’ve warmed up for me.” One of the stepped foreword, and he stood over all of them. “Iron it’s been a long time,” I held my hand up to stop his speech, “you seemed very urgent to get me here.” I watched as his face shifted into human form. His gray hair fading into a dark brown, and his red eyes turning into an ice cold blue. “Damn right I do! We have a problem and you.” Wrinkles deepened in his face, “You have some nerve raising your voice at me shifter!” He flinched as my voice grew louder, “I’m trying to remain calm, but you know what I really want to do?”
He swallowed hard, and I could hear his heart beat speed up. “What would that be,” I could feel the blood running down my arms, “I want to rip you throat out?” The anger coursing through me was unbelievable, and as I started to take deep breathes he spoke again. “They’s a darkness coming. A darkness that is swallowing the lands.” I crossed my arms as my anger started to subside, “What the hell does that have to do with me.” His face shifted back, “You’re no longer needed. Get him!” Within a second banshees clashed with the hellhounds that surrounded me, and I could hear the cries coming from inside. I looked down at my hands to see cracks starting to cover them. Pain was covering my entire body, and then I felt myself let go. Huge wings burst out of my back, wings that were as black as night. I could feel the blood flowing down my arms, so thick as it went between my fingers. The chaos around me was loud, louder my thought themselves.
Thats when it happened. Thats when I opened my arms, and all the chaos stopped. Everyone was standing completely still, and one by one they began to fall. “Those who fall, a sudden recall. Death shall always win. In the darkness the light will fade, leaving you staring in a mirror. At your evil twin.” My voice was calm as I walked up to still standing Marque. His red eyes following my movement as I put my hand on his shoulder. I leaned in close to his ear and whispered, “Death is always needed, but you. Not so much.” As I moved away his entire body turned into dust.I stand alone in the room that was once filled with people. That’s how it went, I kill, I end up alone. Hell has no fury like me, like death. There was a darkness coming, a darkness that I could feel. I turned making my way to the door, felling as the wings torn back inside of me.
As I made it to the car Damian opened the door, and as I climbed inside I heard Nora voice. “Where are you? I’m worried. Come home quick we have guests.” As Damian closed my door and climbed in I simply commanded, “Step on it.” That’s exactly what he did, before I knew it we were back at the mansion. As he pulled in I noticed two very familiar cars, cars that no one drove anymore. I climbed out before the car even stopped moving, and as I approached the door I was met my Nora. “What the matter,” Her eyes were huge, “Spit it out.” She was holding Pollux and Castor’s hands, “We have a very strange visitors.” I nodded and walked around her into the main entrance, and as I was met by two sets of blood red eyes I knew who it was. “It’s been a while Iron,” The man spoke first, “It’s an honor to be you presence.”
I ran my fingers through my hair, “What do you need Astro?” They looked at each other, their red eyes sparkling. I looked back at Nora who was staring at me intensely. “It’s alright, I’m fine. Just relax okay.” “We need a favor. It involves a graveyard.”
