I finally found the principals office. It literally felt like heaven. Yeah, that's kinda weird, but it did. I walked in and saw a woman with her hair perfectly sat up in a bun, and her glasses literally balanced on her nose. She looked up when I came in and sent me a warm smile.
"Destiny Lynn?" she asked and I nodded.
"Hmm, let me see," she said and looked very concentrated at her computer and printed something out.
"Here's your schedule. Your first class begins in 10 minutes," she sent me another warm smile.
"Can you find your class by yourself or will you like to have some help?"
"I would love some help," I said and smiled to her.
"Great, you can wait outside."
As I waited I got a flashback.
I laughed and looked at Ann. She just said something funny.
"It's good to hear you laugh again. I thought it was impossible," she said and smiled.
"Yeah, it's pretty nice," I said and hugged her tight. She looked at me and said:
"You know, I hope we'll be besties forever."
*End of flashback*
I could feel the tears in my eyes. I didn't want to cry here. I missed her. It was so hard to say goodbye to her, but I didn't have a choice.. Dad got some job over here, and I had to follow my family. At some point I'm glad I did. It wasn't hard to leave all the bullies. They gave my scars, both mentally and physical. Yeah, I've been a cutter, but I stopped when we moved to London. It's a new start. I have to make a good impression.
I looked up and saw a boy. I nodded.
"Come with me," he smiled and took my hand, pulling me with him.
Yeah it didn't quit happen like that.
Here's what happened:
5 minutes to class.. Where the hell is he?! I have to admit: I panicked. A lot. I stood and looked at all the other students go to their class, and I just stood there. Yeah, that's pretty awkward. I looked down and bit my lip.
I looked up and saw a boy. I nodded.
"Well, I have to follow you to class," he said irritated. Erhm, were every boy on this school idiots? I looked at him. What a doucheback. He started to go. Fast. I sighed and tried to follow him. What the hell was his problem?
First class went well, I guess.. I was pretty much in my own little fantasy world the whole time.
*In my fantasy*
A boy came in. He just stared at me. I began to feel a little uncomfortable and looked down at my table. I could hear his footsteps came closer and I bit my lip.
"I'm Cole," he said and sat down next to me. He gave me his hand.
"Destiny," I said and blushed a little.
*End of fantasy*
The bell rang and I looked around in the class. The boy who followed me was already gone, I guess he didn't want to be stuck with me. I tried to find the schools canteen, but I couldn't find it. Damn. I could feel the tears again.
"You look kinda lost," I heard someone say. I looked up and saw a girl. I smiled shyly to her.
"I'm Sam, btw. Would you like to eat lunch with me and my friends?"
"I'm Destiny, and I would love to," I said and bit my lip.
"I guess, that you're pretty shy," she said and laughed a little bit.
"I got bullied on my other school, sooo," I said harshly. I didn't mean to be hard.
"Sorry, I just don't like to talk about it," I said.
Her friends were pretty cool. There were a girl named Tas. She was actually really down to earth and easy to talk to. And then there's Alex. A really attractive boy, also really down to earth. He looked weird at me. I bit my lip and looked down at my food.
"So where did you live before London?" Sam asked politely.
"Canada," I answered, still looking down at my food. I could still feel Alex's eyes at me, so I looked up at him and lifted one of my eyebrows. He looked away and I looked down again.
