When he told Anahi that he was booked on a flight back to England that night she was sad that he was leaving but George gave her £100 pounds to spend whilst he was away so that cheered her up. She said that she would buy some nice clothes for him for when he returned.
He kissed her and then left her with Carlos and Bonita. He drove back to The Hacienda Hotel that he owned to pack a small bag.
He had suits in his house in Seaton Delaval to wear for the court. He rung his solicitor from the airport to meet him and fill him in with what was happening.
Alicante was a busy airport but he got clearance and flew first class.
The four and a half hour flight got him into Newcastle airport around 7:20 p.m. that evening and Brian Ellison was waiting in the terminal lounge.
George shook hands with his brief then they went to the airport café.
“Could we get a pot of tea please nice and strong.
George paid for the tea then sat down at the table.
“Well the letter was signed for and she has rung her friend Miriam Hogg who has been in touch with Haig’s on Jesmond Road.’
What they like asked George as the waitress brought them the pot of tea with milk and sugar. George poured out the tea then added two sachets of sugar then stirred.
“Ah,’ that’s better the tea on board the plane never tastes the same does it.’
Haig’s are a good firm they have Andrew Cherry who is a very good QC but we are Cruites; the most respected firm in England and our reputation precedes us.
That’s good because I want you to rake up any bit of dirt that you can on Janice Villeverde and her family and I want your QC to rip them to shreds on the stand.
“I want my son and will stop at nothing until I get him understood Brian.
“Crystal replied Brian.
“Now this hearing, how long will it last?’
“About ten minutes. We will lay down a case against Janice Villeverde which will force a trial.” We will plead that she is an unfit mother and that the trial should take place as soon as possible to save the child anymore distress.
“Good; I want this over in a fortnight at the most.
“I pay you for results Brian and I want them.’
“We must keep a cool head Andrew; let them show themselves up in court when they loose their temper and the judge will sway in our favour.’
Alright I understand; George finished his tea and then shook hands with Brian again. “Do you need a lift?’
“No thanks the Bentley is in the car park.
“See you in court then as they say said Brian as he drove off.’
