I walked down the hallway to my first art class. I smiled at everyone who passed by and they smiled back.
Everyone seemed to be in a better mood in this building.
I found my class and stood outside. I was ten minutes early, good for me.
"Well, well, if it isn't Emily?," Mr. Winger said walking down the hallway.
I spun around, confused to see him here.
"Hello Mr. Winger, what brings you here?," I asked.
"Oh nothing, just had a meeting with another teacher," he said, folding his hands together.
"Oh I see," I said.
"So got any plans for Spring Break yet?," he asked.
"What!? Why do you care?," I asked.
"Just curious, since you are in fact dating the boy from the worlds most favorite boy band," he said.
"Harry's taking me somewhere, but it's a surprise," I said.
"Ahh I see," he said.
I looked at him. Why is he even interested though? This is weird. And he's 100% weird. Not only did he do it on purpose to make me flunk his class, now he's following me around wanting to know my plans.
"Will you please excuse me sir, but I need to get going to class," I said, reaching for the doorknob.
"Very well, goodbye. See you soon," he said, smiling smugly and walking away.
See you soon? I shivered. Weird.
I sat down at an empty desk and took my books out.
Studying art was going to go easy for me. My professor was a women and I always got along fine with women teachers.
Mrs. Jazz, yes that's her name, came into class, smiling at everyone.
Yep. My kinda class.
"So how was class today?," Harry asked thought the phone.
"It was amazing! I love my new professor. She's a women so we get along just fine," I said, spinning around on my chair.
"Mhmm," Harry said.
"But weirdly Mr. Winger came to the Arts and Music building today and started asking about my Spring Break plans," I said.
"That is weird indeed. He's a creepy man, I must admit," Harry said.
"Tell me about it. Through all of Fall Semester he kept starring at me, and catching me day dreaming or not paying attention at all," I said.
"I really don't like this dude," Harry said.
"Me neither," I agreed.
I heard Harry yawn.
"Haz if you're tired please go to sleep," I said.
"No I wanna stay up and hear your beautiful voice," he said, mumbling a bit.
"I know, but you got a show tomorrow and you need rest," I said.
"Stop being so motherly on me," he chuckled.
"I'm not, silly," I said.
"EM! You will not call me silly over this phone call or any other one!," Harry exclaimed.
"Why?," I asked laughing.
"Because, I'll make up punishments if you do."
"No kisses when we see each other again," he stated.
"Oh Mr. Styles, I don't think that'll work," I said.
"True," he chuckled again.
"You suck at punishments," I giggled.
"Em, you know what punishments I'm good at," he said. I knew he was smirking.
"Yes, but that's not considered a punishment, unless you were some rapist. That's pure pleasure," I said and then blushed.
"Emily did you just say that?," Harry chuckled.
"Oh hush you," I said, my cheeks burning.
"Pure pleasure aye?"
"Well I'm glad that's what you feel," he said.
"I miss you Haz," I said.
"I miss you too Em. But soon we'll be together again," he said.
"Surprise," he chuckled.
"Awe c'mon Hazzy," I begged.
"Nope," he said, popping the 'P'.
"Someone's grumpy," he chuckled again.
"Well duh," I said.
Harry yawned again.
"Haz what time is it there?," I asked.
"Four in the morning," he said, as if it was no big deal.
"HARRY! GO TO SLEEP THEN!," I said.
"Noooooo," he said.
"You need to rest young man," I scolded.
"Yes, mommy," he said.
"Please Harry, do it for me and go to sleep," I said.
"Okay, I will. I love you Emily," he said.
"I love you too Haz. Sweet dreams," I said.
"Bye," I said and hung up.
I smiled and put my phone away, and starred out my window.
I heard footsteps coming and soon there was a knock on my door.
"Come in," I said, looking down at my homework.
"Emily?," Alisa asked walking in.
"Yes?," I said spinning around in my chair.
"Can I talk to you....about boys?," she asked.
"Sure! What's up?," I asked, putting my pencil down.
"It's about Jim, I feel that he's cheating on me," she said, sitting down on my bed.
"Jim? What makes you think that he's cheating at you?," I asked.
"He doesn't spend much time with me as he used to," she said.
"Well he did get that job at that company, maybe he's busy?," I asked.
"Yes, but still he acts weird," she said.
"Maybe he's planning something for your birthday since it's during Spring Break?"
She thought for a while.
"Maybe you're right...," she said finally.
I proudly smiled.
"Well did you guys talk about Spring Break?," I asked.
"No not yet," she said.
"Well then, next time you meet him, ask him what are his plans for Spring Break and we'll see," I said.
"Okay I'll do that. We're having lunch tomorrow so I'll bring up the subject. Thank you Emily," she smiled.
"Not a problem," I smiled back.
She got up and left.
I turned back to my homework.
Michael Angelo, we have work to do here.
I giggled to myself.
I finally closed my notebook and put it in my bag. Homework done.
I walked downstairs, to find the apartment empty. There was a note on the table so I picked it up.
Went to get some groceries -A
I sat down on the couch and turned the TV on. There was a movie about this girl being kidnapped and raped on, so I changed the channel. I hate creepy movies.
I skipped through the channels, when the door burst open.
"Nathan?," I asked, putting the remote down.
"Emily, I'm so glad I found you," Nathan breathed.
"Is everything alright?," I asked getting up.
"No. Mr. Winger disappeared, he left leaving nothing behind, the last person he talked to was you," Nathan said.
"What? It's high time he left," I said.
"Emily somethings wrong. Everybody's concerned," he said.
"Well Mr. Creepy-You-Out, talked to me today, asking me what I'm doing for Spring Break," I said.
"And I said Harry's taking me somewhere but it's a surprise...and then I had to go to class and he said....see...you...soon," I said slowly.
Nathan put a serious face on, and started pacing the floor.
"He was at the Art and Music building, apparently having a conversation with another professor," I said.
"Interesting. He wasn't in class today. That's how we know. The class waited and waited then one student got up and went to the main office and some women came and looked at his desk which turned out to be completely clean. Nothing was in there," Nathan said.
I starred at the floor thinking.
"Somethings wrong and weird," I said finally.
"Indeed it is," Nathan said.
"Right before Spring Break he disappeared. Well perhaps tomorrow he'll come back?," I said, looking at Nathan.
"We'll see, if not....this is completely weird," Nathan said.
"He's always been weird," I said.
"Well yeah. Okay I'm off to my apartment, if you get any clues or news text me or call me," Nathan said finally.
"Okay, see you tomorrow," I said.
Nathan stood there, surprised.
"What?," I asked.
"Well yeah...Alisa, Jim, and I are going to do homework at the cafe tomorrow, and I just invited you too," I said.
Nathan smiled. I grinned a bit.
"Well see you then Mrs. Styles," he said.
I gigged a bit.
"Bye," he said.
He closed the door and I was alone.
My phone bleeped.
