I woke up in my bed. Did I fall asleep watching the movie?
I felt stirring next to me. I looked over.
I nudged him. He woke up.
"Can you explain to me why are you in my bed?," I asked.
"You fell asleep, and Jim wanted to spend the night with Alisa. There was a blizzard going on outside so Alisa told me to take you to bed and yeah..," Nathan said.
"Urgh, well get out," I said.
"Somebody's not happy today," Nathan said, getting out.
"Well I don't like finding my friends in my bed. Either girl or boy," I said, getting up too.
"Hey, what about Harry?," he asked.
"Get out!," I yelled.
He laughed and left my room.
I yawned and looked out my window.
Snow falling. It's going to be hard walking to class today.
I found my robe and went to the kitchen to find Nathan and Jim.
"Morning!," Jim called.
"Morning," I mumbled.
"Someone cranky?," he asked.
"Not in the mood to talk," I said, still mumbling.
Jim shrugged and left me alone.
Alisa came into the room, already dressed and perfect for the day.
I frowned and ran my fingers through my messy hair.
"Emily hurry up, we need to walk to class and it's snowing really hard," she said.
"In America, they'd cancel classes and call it a SNOW DAY," I said.
"Really?," Nathan asked.
"No classes, not even one?," Jim asked.
"Nope, nada. Whole day off," I said.
"Sweet beans! Why don't they do that here???," Jim said.
"Because it's RUSSIA," I said.
"That's why I live in AMERICA."
Everyone starred at me.
"Well currently you're living in RUSSIA," Nathan said.
"Unfortunately," I mumbled and ate my cereal.
Alisa sat down, while Jim made her breakfast.
"Did Harry ever make you breakfast?," she asked.
I nodded and remembered the first time he made breakfast, how we almost kissed...
"Awe that's sweet. What did he make?," she asked.
"Usually eggs, toast and jam, with cinnamon rolls," I said.
"Mmm, that sounds delicious," Nathan said.
"Yeah," I sighed and got up to put my bowl in the sink.
"Okay now go get dressed Emily. We need to leave in fifteen minutes," Alisa said.
I groaned and walked to the bathroom.
Blah, blah, blah.
Business classes always get at me.
I could sleep through the whole thing.
I looked outside, at the white world. I wonder where Harry is. What's he doing now.
Russia literally sucks, the school/college that is. It's so old fashioned. No laptops. No tablets. Anything. Paperwork only.
Articles, books, and magazines could only be used for information.
Russia doesn't even know what WiFi is! Or who One Direction are!
(Okay I know that's not true. Not trying to insult Russia. It's a beautiful country! In my fanfiction, Emily just dislikes it...you know why)
"Miss Emily?," the professor said.
"Ugh yeah?," I asked, looking at him.
"I asked you a question," he said.
"Um.....could you repeat it?," I asked sweetly.
The whole class laughed.
"Miss Emily, this is not the first time I catch you not paying attention in class," he said.
"What are we in high school?," I said under my breath.
Nathan turned to me and gave me a look. I rolled my eyes.
The professor kept talking about different business people.
Blah, blah, blah.
I poked Nathan. He sat right in front of me, so it was an easy reach.
He turned around.
I made a yawning face. He laughed a bit and turned around.
I put my face on my hand and just starred at the black board.
"Christmas is coming, Christmas is coming, Hallelujah!," Nathan and Jim danced around.
"Sometimes I feel that they're five-year-olds not grown guys," Alisa said.
"Mmm," I agreed.
"Emily, what's going on?," she asked.
"Nothing, nothing," I said, sighing.
"Is it about Harry?," she asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Awe cheer up! Christmas is in a week, then New Years. Before you know it college is over!," she said.
"Yeah..," I sighed.
Nathan and Jim ran over to us and started dancing with us.
"Nathan...stoppp," I said, starting to laugh.
"Have a holly jolly Christmas, it's the best time of the year. I don't know if there'll be snow. So have a cuppa cheer," he and Jim sang as we danced around on the sidewalk.
"Oh my golly have a holly jolly Christmas THIS YEAAAARRRRR!!!," Jim ended the song.
"Yay!," Alisa said, laughing.
I kept laughing too.
"So who's up for a cup of hot chocolate?," Nathan asked.
"Me!!!," I said.
"Me too!," Alisa joined in.
"Then let's go, go, go!," he said and we went to the restaurant.
Ahhh. Christmas break. Finally. Home, sweet home. Mum, Robin, Gemma back from her university. No Emily...
I sighed and laid down on my bed. I pulled my phone out.
*2 missed calls and new voicemail*
Hmm. Random number, but worth to listen to.
I dialed my voicemail number and it took me to my mailbox.
"YESSSSS!!!," I yelled out loud when I heard her voice.
I listened to her message and smiled. She's not mad at me, good.
But about her phone. Perhaps I could get her a new one.
Mom walked into the room.
"Hey baby," she said.
"Hi mum," I smiled.
"Her dad took her phone away and she can't talk. Russia has no WiFi, so no Skyping. Last time we talked she was happy and okay. Although she hates it there," I said, chuckling.
I sighed again.
"Perhaps you'd like to go spend Christmas with her after all?," mum said.
I looked up at her. She smiled.
"You mean it? You don't want me to stay for family reunion?," I asked.
"We called it off. Grandpa won't make it this year," she said.
"So you mean I actually can?," I asked.
"Yes baby, chase after your girl," she said and kissed my forehead.
"I love you mum," I said and hugged her.
"I love you too baby," she said.
Russia here I come!
