Noah walked through the streets and checked his phone again. "It has to be around here somewhere, it's not that big a city, it shouldn't be hard to miss." He then checked the letter again. He had been looking for his own apartment for quite some time and he finally found one, it was strange how a letter just happened to have an advertisement for exactly what he was looking for, but he decided that he had nothing to lose. "Ugh! This is the last time I use my cell phone for directions!" Then he saw her. Eva.
Eva looked suspiciously in the same situation as himself. She was wandering aimlessly carrying what seemed to be a suitcase. She then saw Noah. "Oh what choice do I have? She's the only one around here I even know." Noah walked over to meet up with Eva. They met on Total Drama, but they've never really interacted that much. There was that one time they made a team with another contestant, Izzy, but that was it.
"Hey Eva," Noah approached her, "fancy meeting you out here." Eva then just noticed him. "Hey." Eva replied. It's been so long that he had no idea what to say to her. "So, what brings you here? I mean by the looks of what you're carrying it looks like no ordinary visit to this city." Eva looked at his bags. "Says you. I'm here because I was just offered an apartment." "That's strange, I was offered one too, maybe it's at the same building. "Maybe it is. You have any idea where it is?" Noah shook his head and shrugged. "No, that's what I came to you for, I've never been here before."
"Well that's just great!" Eva muttered as she crossed her arms, "they'll probably give it to someone else if I don't make it on time, if they gave one to you then they could have given one to other people besides us." Noah then pointed in the distance. "Speaking of other people." Eva looked in the direction and saw a familiar ginger-haired lunatic hanging out of the lampposts. "It's Izzy."
Izzy was on top of the lamppost when she saw them both. She stood on the very top and waved at them. "Hey, hey guys! It's me Izzy!" Then she slipped and fell off hitting her face on the pavement. Worried, the two ran towards her and helped her off the ground. "Izzy? Are you okay?" Fortunately, Izzy is, well Izzy. "I'm fine, it actually felt kinda strange, but in a good way! Can we do it again?" Eva and Noah exchanged glances before accepting that it was Izzy they were talking to.
"So what brings you two here? Are you on a date?" Eva and Noah looked at Izzy in disgust. "Izzy, I have a girlfriend, besides, I just happened to run into her." Eva snorted. "As if, he couldn't run if he tried, we were just looking for an apartment block, you know where it could be?" Izzy skipped over and grabbed a suitcase. "Oh yeah! I'm heading to it myself!" The three of them seemed to be doing the same thing. "Okay, the three of us, gathered in the same apartment block in the same city?" Noah asked, "sounds like Chris to me."
"McLean? He hasn't invited me to anything since season one." Eva snapped, "why would he invite me to something now?" Noah decided to ignore her and ask if Izzy knew the way. "Do you know where this apartment is? We don't know where it is and you're our only hope." Izzy replied with an unexpected stern tone. "Do I look like a GPS?" "So… you don't know the way there?" Izzy's voice then returned to its usual bubbly tone. "Yes, I know the way! Follow me!"
"Here we are!" The three were standing in front of a grey and tall apartment block. "How did we not see this beforehand?" Eva remarked, "it was literally right in front of us!" Noah then looked at the letter again. "Mine says it was a different shade of grey." Izzy was already skipping inside. The other two followed. "So we'll all be living close to each other-"
"Closer than you might expect." They heard a familiar voice. "Don't tell me that it's…" they turned to see the host who they could never forget, for all the wrong reasons. "Chris McLean." "That's right, I sent you the letters to bring you here." The three seemed annoyed. Eva crushed her letter out of rage. "You mean this was all a hoax?! You lied about the apartment just to get us over here?!" Eva tried to attack Chris but the other two held her back. "Eva stop, Chris didn't finish, there's always a however."
"However," Chris added, "the apartment wasn't a lie, it is actually up for sale, but there's only one." "So we're gonna have compete for it? Oh cmon!" "Shush it Noah! You're not competing for it, you're sharing it." The three looked at each other. Izzy seemed excited. "Alright! It's like our team, back together again! Reunited after all this time!" "Hold the phone McLean! You expect me to share me living space with these two over here?" Eva retorted.
"Yes, I do expect that." Chris stated calmly. "Give me one good reason why I should do it." "Well, for a start the rent is cheaper when it has to be paid between three people, besides you're all young, you won't need all the space to yourselves." Izzy still happy at the idea of them being together. "Whoo hoo! Let's go up there and get our new place sorted! Team E-Scope forever!" Izzy pulled the two of them into a group hug.
"Great! Now that I know you're all in on this, come with me and I'll show you the place."
