"It's been ten minutes, Chris is either late, or he just tricked us into standing out here and looking like idiots, and knowing Chris it's one of those two." Noah remarked as the three of them sat outside the building. "Maybe Chris was kidnapped, oh oh, or he had to take on this super undercover mission!" Izzy suggested. "Chris said we'd be doing the undercover stuff, even if that is true anyway, Chris would be too lazy to do it himself." "Besides," Eva said, "Chris just loves putting us in misery, so maybe he's doing this on purpose." Noah nodded with agreement began to walk back inside the building.
They then saw Chris getting out of a car and coming towards them. "Sorry I'm late, do you have any idea what the line was for the gas stations around here? It's outrageous." "Chris, there are no gas stations here. It's a city, the closest one is only two miles away." "I know, that's where I went. The amount of people, geez, and they wouldn't let me cut in line!" Izzy open towards Chris. "So Chris, what's our first mission going to be like? Will it be dangerous and one of us could die, oh or is it going to take place somewhere extremely cold like in those old spy movies." "I hope not," Noah muttered, "but this IS Chris McLean." Eva grunted at this. "You're just being a pussy, I can do all of those things without breaking a sweat." Chris glared at her. "Yeah, and probably break more than you should." Eva growled. "I said I changed McLean."
"Oh we'll see about that," Chris said, "first you'll have to get in the car." The three looked at the car. Izzy skipped over and hopped right in. "Why a car? Why can't you tell us inside or even out here?" Noah asked. "Because, it'll look much more important and like in those spy movies your teammate was bragging about." When Eva looked at Noah to see if he had any objections he just answered, "it's Chris," so they both went in too. They were told to sit opposite him and all the lights in the car went out making it completely dark.
Chris turned on a light that shines directly on his head, he was know wearing a bowler hat and it looked extremely silly. Noah sniggered at this but tried not to get caught by Chris. He looked alongside Eva and Izzy, Eva just seemed confused and Izzy seemed to be taking this all in like it was completely normal, like it was something she was used to. "You're first mission," Chris began, "is to retrieve and item that was once stolen from me, he held up a picture of it, it seemed to be some kind if giant sapphire. "Why would you have one of those?" Chris glared at Noah who had his arms folded, "I'm just saying, it's not useful for anything and it's just a robbery waiting to happen, Ow!"
Chris took his stick that he hit Noah with and put it away. "Anyway, the sapphire appears to be kept in this manor." He showed the three of them a projection of a fancy house. "Oh I know that place!" Izzy called out. Chris nodded. "Yes, it's where all the masquerade parties take place, once every Saturday." "That place? Oh I must've been confused with that haunted house I used to go to with my friends. I used to get scared by it all the time, but not anymore." Izzy laughed.
"As I was saying. You're mission is to go into the vault and get the sapphire back. I'll instruct Izzy with some high tech gadgets to get the job done, Eva, you will need to use your strength to take down any guards that comes in your way, and to stop Izzy from doing anything bad with the equipment." "Um, Chris, what am I meant to do?" Chris looked again. "Ah yes Noah, I have a special job for you." Chris laughed, that was all Noah needed to know that it wasn't something good.
"The place is heavily guarded so no doubt there's a guard dog, but this isn't a dog, it's none other than our past contestant, Justin, who happens to attend the parties every Saturday, mainly to either make sure the sapphire is safe or look for a girlfriend, but we need to distract him long enough so he won't notice Izzy and Eva breaking in, so we need you to be disguised as a girl and distract him." Izzy and Eva both laughed at this. "I'm sorry no, I'm not dressing up for anybody, especially not that pretty poser, besides, what'll happen if Emma finds out." "Well, Emma isn't going to be there, and you have to do it, you already signed the employment contract so you can't back out." "I never signed anything." Chris thought but gave up on trying to convince him and just decided to tell him straight. "You're doing it and that's final!"
"Why me? Why a girl? Those two are girls." "True, but those two have the abilities to do this task while you don't, you aren't useful in any other way, complete deadweight, also, it needs to be a girl so Justin is really distracted." Noah was slightly hurt by Chris saying that he was useless, but he decided to not let that bother him , it was Chris McLean anyway. "Chris, I see four flaws with your plan." Chris noticed Izzy's remark and looked at her. "Tell me the four flaws with this plan?"
"Hair, face and boobs!" They all looked at her with a blank expression. "Izzy, that's three flaws." "No, two boobs!" Chris tried hard not to laugh. "Well, I do have my stylist, you honestly think I wouldn't have thought this through? You think that I wouldn't take my mission seriously?" "Yes." Eva said nonchalantly. "I think we reached our destination," Chris said looking out the window, "time for you three to get ready for the mission. That includes you Noah." Eva and Izzy sniggered to one another again. "Yeah Chris. I know, you can stop telling me that! It just makes it worse." "Good, that's what I was going for." Noah glared at Chris. "I really don't like you."
The car finally stopped. The three got out of the car, the sunlight shines light diamonds after being in the dark car. Izzy seemed to be the only one not effected. "Come on team! We have a mission to prepare for!" Izzy jumped on the top of the car, "so Chris where to?" Chris seemed annoyed that the girl was dancing on his car. "This way, now get off my car! I just had it washed." Izzy obediently jumped off and onto Eva's shoulders. "Onwards to victory! Hey!" Eva threw her off her. "Sorry," she said in a dry voice, "I felt threatened." Then she followed Chris. The other two did after that.
