Izzy and Noah were now dangling over a pen covered with a plank of wood by a rope. They were still tied together. "You don't really have Ezekiel, do you?" Max stood underneath them. "Oh I have him, right HERE!" Max pressed a button and the wood folded in and was removed. Ezekiel was down there. He looked up at the two past contestants that were several feet above him and jumped up to try and grab at them. "Okay," Izzy's speech was shaking, "that's kind of scary, where'd you find him?" Max walked over and touched the glass wall that kept Ezekiel away from him. "Strange story actually, I was recovering from being shot out of the canon after my unfair elimination, me and Scarlett split up. I landed on an island rumoured to be where all the mutated animals from Wawanakwa fled."
"Boney Island!" Noah exclaimed. "Thank you, but I didn't need your commentary. Anyway. As I was being tracked down by some blind gophers, until I saw Ezekiel chase them away, unfortunately, it was because he wanted me for his dinner, luckily I wasn't the only Pahkitew island contestant that ended up there, I made him my minion and his strength managed to take down the beast and bring him here." Ezekiel rammed himself against the glass growling, trying to get at Max. "Well, he isn't fully used to being here yet, but once he is, he'll be my personal attack dog… I mean person." Max checked the time. "It's not an hour yet? Stupid time! Go faster! I want to lower these fools into him. It's the least they deserve for laughing at me!"
"Scarlett, be sure to drive as fast as you can!" "Yeah, already doing that!" Scarlett stepped on the accelerator. "Woah, you know, for an intellect, I never expected you to drive like this." Scarlett nodded. "Whenever something's in my way, I'll do anything to get through it! Besides, I can't let Max win! I must prove once and for all that I'm superior!" Back at the warehouse. Max was tired of waiting. "Screw this waiting around. It's Time. To. EVIL!" Max pressed the red button on a remote and Izzy and Noah started to lower into the pen. Noah and Izzy gasped out of terror.
"You know, I always wanted my last words to be completely out of left field and memorable. Do you think "AGH! Ezekiel is killing us because the pigman got sick of waiting" is good?" Noah didn't answer, he was too scared. "I'm going to die, and Ezekiel is going to be the cause of my death… because I had to go and work for Chris, again, and I'm going to die with Ms. Nutcracker by my side," he muttered to himself, he seemed to be shaking. Izzy them remembered something. "Noah, I need to tell you something!" "Could you have said it before we're about to either be eaten or mauled to death?" Izzy shook her head. "No, but it's really important. You must know that Eva-"
"Show's over Max! Let them go or else they won't be the only ones being killed by Ezekiel!" Eva burst into the warehouse. "What? How did you find me?" Scarlett walked up beside Eva. "It's something called modern technology, look it up." Max seemed infuriated. "MINION! Crush this hulking trespasser in her tracks." Eva glanced at the man hidden in the shadows, until he finally came into the light to reveal himself. "Rodney?" Scarlett recognised the big farm boy, "but how?" Max pointed to a collar strung around Rodney's neck. "It's the collar I invented. He obeys my every command. Plus he even sounds menacing! I found him on Boney Island." Scarlett was amazed. "I admit, that's impressive."
"Hey! You can babble on about your inventions any day, but right now. WE'RE BEING LOWERED TO OUR DEATHS!" Eva looked at where her friends were. They were so close to Ezekiel that he was leaping up and scratching at them. They started screaming and yelling out Eva's name. "Scarlett! Get the remote!" Scarlett nodded and snatched the remote out of Max's hands. "Sorry, but these things should be kept away from children." Scarlett examined the buttons. She pressed the top button and the two began to lift up again. "Minion!" Rodney knocked Scarlett to the ground. Her glasses were knocked off her face and smashed. "Thank you sidekick." Max took the remote back and brought them back down again. Scarlett had enough. "Eva, you handle Rodney, Max is mine!"
Scarlett took her hair down. She looked just like what she called the 'real her'. "MAX! Come over here and fight, or are you not a true villain!" Max cowered in Psycho Scarlett's presence. "I'm sorry, but I don't fight girls." Scarlett smirked. Her true design and nature seemed to be the thing that Max feared most. She kicked the remote out of Max's hand and lifted the two up and away from Ezekiel again. "That's the last time you will ever call me your sidekick! Or else I'll come back for you!" Max hid in a corner. "Minion!" Rodney turned to face Scarlett only for Eva to kick him in the face. "Eva, the collar, remove it!" Eva nodded and tore it off his neck.
"He'll be out for a few hours, I'd say that's for the best." Scarlett noted. "Hey! That midget pothead is getting away!" Eva pointed at Max who was trying to escape the warehouse. Scarlett slowly walked towards him. "Time to make my evil exit!" "Oh, I wouldn't count on it," Scarlett picked him up by his shirt, "do you really think that after you having to wake me up at 2am and drive all the way out here I'll let you get away that easy? Eva! Call the cops!" Eva obliged and around an hour later, Max was gone. As he was leaving he yelled out to Scarlett. "You're working for the enemy! I thought you were EVIL!" Eva grunted "Guess I was wrong, Max isn't your boyfriend."
"Ahem!" Eva and Scarlett the looked up to see that Noah and Izzy were still up there, "can you save your friendly talking for after we get down?" Eva nodded. "Right, sorry, I… just lost concentration." While Eva looked for a way to bring them down, Noah said something to Izzy. "While we're going down and was about to be killed, you said that there was something important I needed to know about Eva." Izzy remembered. "Oh yeah! I know what you mean." "Well, what was it?" Izzy paused, they weren't going to die, but she would if she told him. "I was going to say that Eva was coming to save us. Maybe I'm psychic, or something."
"Yeah, or something," Noah replied. He didn't believe her but she probably wasn't going to tell him what it really was. Eva managed to get them down. The two both hugged Eva at the same time. "Woah, what's with all the sugar?" Eva asked. "I actually thought that we were going to die!" Izzy explained, "you shouldn't scare us like that!" Eva pushed them off. "Well, you're both still wet! It doesn't matter anyway, because I had to save you two, we didn't get to go to the mission that Chris had sent us to do." Scarlett blushed. "Yeah, about that," she sighed, "it wasn't real, I just wanted to see if you'd buy it."
The two glared at her and Eva was infuriated. "What? Why would you do that, they were kidnapped and held above a raging Ezekiel, because you wanted us to look like idiots!" Scarlett looked ashamed. "Well, that was before then, I hated the three of you. I kinda still do, but that was before." Noah held up the two. "So you two can't get along unless our lives are at risk?" "That's what it looks like." Izzy backed up. "Whatever, we'll discuss this later, but right now Scarlett needs to drive us home, it's the least that she can do after what she put all of us through." "But I had no idea that Max was going to, forget it, come on, I'll meet you out there."
As the three walked out, Scarlett picked up her broken glasses. The frame snapped in half and the lenses were shattered. "Great," she muttered, "I'll need to get new ones." She then noticed the pen where Ezekiel was in. "Well, I can't just leave him here," she thought to herself, "that'd be stooping to 'his' level," and she didn't mean Max. Five minutes later she met up with the three, they were already in the car.
"What took you so long?" Eva asked, she was still angry about the stunt Scarlett pulled. "I had to just clear up all the evidence that we were ever there." Izzy was upset. "I was meant to be captain! The leader of the team, and I was the one that needed to be saved!" Noah put his arm around her. "It's okay Iz, you tried your best, unlike me." Izzy sniffed. "Yeah, you were pretty much useless." Noah sighed. "I admit, I was kind of cowardly back there, but I just didn't want to die."
"We would've died regardless."
"I didn't know that at the time."
"True, you're not a psychic, like me."
"Yeah," he rolled his eyes, "like you."
