Noah was awoken in the middle of the night. His phone was going off. He picked it up and answered it. "What do you want at this time? It's half past midnight." A voice that he thought was familiar but was too tired to recognise answered. "Yes. I'm a worker of this, Chris McLean, here to tell you that your mission is starting earlier than usual, don't ask why, I don't know. Bring your ginger friend as well as yourself down at the outside of the building pronto!" Noah nearly drifted back to sleep again. "Wha- oh yeah, right, what about Eva? Is she already there?" The voice on the phone answered. "Yes, and she's wondering what's taking you guys so long. So I'm going to hang up and when I come in ten minutes I want to see you two outside the building."
Seven minutes later Noah and Izzy were sitting outside the building. "So, who was that guy on the phone?" Noah tried to remember. "I'm sure he was in another season, all I know is that Chris kicked him off, so why trust him with the mission?" Izzy yawned. "Well, whoever he is, I'd like to know why we're out here so early. It's so dark I can barely see." Noah nodded. Then he felt something on his shoulder. Like a giant hand or something. "Izzy, do you feel something?" Izzy looked at him. "Yeah, I think there's a big guy behind us. Either that or we're hallucinating from fatigue, this one time I thought I saw a whale bug I was just really tired in the bathtub." Noah looked up. "Who are you?" Noah asked, "are you to do with our mission?" They both saw a silhouette of a giant man. He answered in a deep voice that shook like thunder. "No, but you're part of my mission."
1:30am. Eva's alarm went off. She groaned and slammed her alarm clock. "Stupid Chris and his stupid mission," she muttered to herself, "might as well wake the others." However, when she walked into their rooms she was surprised to see them gone. "Maybe Chris picked them up early." Eva walked outside the building. A car pulled up, it was Chris' car, but out ran Scarlett and she grabbed Eva by the shoulders. "Where are they?" Eva was confused. "Don't play dumb Eva! Noah and Izzy! Are they with you?" Eva shook her head. "No, I didn't see them at the apartment either, I'd have thought they're with you." Scarlett looked like she was freaking out and ran her hands through her hair. "Shit! Shit shit shit shit! It's worse than I thought! My prediction has come true in the worse possible way!" Eva was still unaware of what was happening. "Come with me and I'll explain." Scarlett rushed Eva into the car and they drove off.
Noah and Izzy woke up in the back of a van. "Ugh!" Noah felt pain at the back of his head, "this is the second time this week. Izzy? Are you there?" Izzy nodded. "Right here. Where are we?" "I have no idea, but if I was to guess, it's that the guy on the phone set us up and the big guy took us in here and that we're being kidnapped." Izzy looked like she was about to blow. "What?! I'm meant to be the capturer! Not the captured!" "You know, I'd be worried about more than my reputation here. Eva would have knocked him out before he could lay a hand on her. Too bad we were caught off guard."
"Funny thing, you went out easily, but I tried to fight back, but I guess being half awake is a disadvantage." Izzy giggled, but it sounded frantic. The van seemed up have drove over a ramp and they were both knocked into the air. "Izzy, what'll happen to us? You're good at thinking of worst case scenarios." Izzy thought. "Well, we were celebrities so maybe it's just a ransom thing, they hold guns to our heads and say that if they're not paid a certain amount we'll never see the light of day again." Noah's eyes widened. "I regret asking for your opinion…"
"So what you mean to say is that someone found a way to use Chris' number to trick them both into coming out early and then just kidnapped them." Scarlett nodded, she was driving the car, and really fast. "If we don't get them back, Chris will go ballistic! I'll be fired! You'll be fired, and you'll probably be evicted too, oh, and there's a chance your friends could be held ransom until they're either shot or starve to death." Eva seemed frightened by this. "So, where are we going?" Scarlett turned a right corner and the car nearly skid off the tracks. "We need to track down who faked the number, we find him, we find them, case closed." Eva was puzzled. "Why are you helping anyway? I thought you hated us." "True, but my job is on the line too."
"Let go of us! Or else you'll regret it later!" The guy from before was back. Izzy and Noah were in a dark room and were both seated they still couldn't see who the big guy was. Izzy was objecting. "Izzy stop," Noah hissed, "if you don't fight, maybe they won't hurt us that badly." Izzy stood up. "Never! I'm a leader! A true leader never gives-" Izzy was then unconscious. The guy had punched her right out of it. The guy stared at Noah. "Do you have anything else to say?" Noah gave a nervous laugh. "No thanks, I'm fine."
"We must hurry!" Scarlett plugged Chris' phone into a device. "This machine has been invented to specifically analyse the…" Scarlett then paused as she felt Eva wouldn't understand, "it will tell us who used the phone besides Chris." Eva nodded and crossed her arms. Scarlett typed into a keypad and a map came up on a monitor. "By the looks of things, they seem to be in an abandoned warehouse near the outskirts of the city." Eva read the map. "That's like fifteen minutes away, let's go!" Scarlett was about to leave but got a notification on the monitor. "Hold on, it seems our friend here wants to video message us, I'll accept it, but whatever you do, do not tell him that we know where he is."
"What do you want with us anyway? We're worth nothing!" Noah and Izzy were tied to chairs that we're back to back from each other. Izzy then just woke up. "Noah? I had this crazy dream that, oh." Izzy hesitated, "it wasn't a dream was it?" "This isn't a dream," there was that voice, the one from the phone, a short man with short purple hair wearing a grey suit approached them, "it's a nightmare!" The two looked at the tiny man. They couldn't help themselves and they started laughing. "What? There's nothing to laugh about here, I'm the the monster that lurks through the shadows, I. Am. EVIL!" They kept laughing. "Seriously, is this really the guy we were afraid of?" Noah asked. Izzy cackled. "He's so funny looking!" The 'evil' man sighed. "Minion!" the big guy who was hidden in the shadows answered, "have it that these two are silenced at once! I have to make a quick call." He handed his 'minion' a water gun, if they make a noise spray them with this. Izzy kept laughing. "You're so cute-" she was sprayed with water, "hey!" Noah snickered and he was sprayed as well. "I didn't say anything-" he was sprayed again.
Scarlett answered the call. A familiar face stood before her. "I want one million dollars!" Scarlett went pale. "Max!" Max then noticed who he was talking to. "Scarlett? It's been a while. Why are you working with the good guys? You're meant to be my sidekick, not Chris!" Eva snorted. "This is the guy? Seriously?" Scarlett blushed. "This is embarrassing." Max regained his 'evil' reputation. "Back to business we were discussing. I want the money! Have it delivered to me as soon as possible!" Eva rolled her eyes. "What is someone like you going to do if we don't?" Max smirked.
"Oh, I'm glad you asked that, MINION! Bring the prisoners forth!" Max's minion dumped the chairs that had Noah and Izzy in them in front of the camera. "Izzy, Noah! Why are you all wet?"
"Eva, I can explain-" Noah was squirted with water. "Will you stop that-" he was sprayed again. Max sighed. "Minion! Let him say something, it gives it more dramatic effect." The minion stepped down. "Anyway… carry on." Noah looked at the camera again. "Eva! Max says that if you guys don't bring the money, this little badger will- ow! For fucks sake!" Max had poked him with a stick. "You were meant to 'stick' to the script! I'll do it myself. If you don't bring me the money. Your friends will have to be confronted with a monster so terrifying-"
"It's Ezekiel isn't it." Izzy said nonchalantly. "How'd you know?" Max asked. Izzy shrugged. "I just guessed." Eva gasped. Ezekiel! He could easily rip anyone to shreds. "So be warned, bring me the money within the hour, or else you're friends won't be whole ever again!" Max started to laugh uncontrollably. "Hey, I still got it!" The call then abruptly ended. "So, who's Ezekiel?" "Ezekiel is this guy who used to be a contestant then he went completely feral and is probably now on a chart of the most dangerous things in the world, just above quicksand and just below lava." Scarlett was slightly scared by this new information. "We need to get over to that warehouse and save them before this Ezekiel gets to them."
