Eva was dreaming. She was in a forest and she was looking for a way out. The trees were all identical with a dark brown bark and green, almost black in the dark leaves. She walked for what seemed like forever but the path didn't seem to change. Then she heard a noise. It was coming from behind her. Eva ran. She then saw a light, it looked like an escape. She ran into it.
She wasn't in the forest anymore. Eva was in what looked like an old playground. The only remaining equipment was an old pair of monkey bars. Izzy was there, she was hanging upside down. "Oh, it's Eva! Hey Eva!" Izzy waved violently until she slipped and fell. Noah, who was sitting on a bench reading looked up. He went up to held Izzy. "Noah! Look it's Eva!" Eva approached them. "Eva! How've you been?"
Eva was confused. "Where've I been?" The two laughed. "Eva, don't be stupid,' Noah replied, "you've been gone for two weeks, we want to know how you've been." Eva still didn't understand. She didn't go anywhere.,
Then the noise from before came back. Growls. "Eva! It's him!" Noah ducked behind Izzy and pointed behind her. Eva looked behind her. It was Ezekiel, but how? In an act of defence Eva shit an uppercut. Much to her surprise, Ezekiel was knocked straight in the air and was shot far away. "I didn't know I was that strong. Cool! Did you guys see that?" She turned around and was puzzled to see that they were slowly backing away from her.
"Guys?" They walked away and she followed. "What are you two doing? Is this one of Izzy's games?" This started to annoy her. "DON'T RUN AWAY FROM ME!" Eva bellowed. The two ducked down huddling against each other. "Don't hurt us!" Noah pleaded, "I didn't mean those things I said about you behind your back." Izzy nodded. "I'm sorry I used your toothbrush that one time to brush my hair! I just wanted to see if it'd work!" Eva backed away. "You got it wrong, you're my friends, I wouldn't hurt you… on purpose." A familiar voice ran through Eva's brain. "You're just a danger to have around." Eva yelled. "No! I won't let you bother me!"
"Eva!" She shot straight up in her bed, her head hitting Noah's. "Noah? You're not hurt." Noah groaned. "Well, I wasn't until your head decided to spar with mine." Eva blushed. "Sorry, what are you even doing in my room?" Noah rubbed his forehead. "I heard you screaming in your sleep. Like you were having some kind of nightmare." Eva sighed and held him to her chest. "Noah, are you and Izzy, scared of me?" Noah tried to push himself away. "Uh… why'd you ask me that?" Eva shrugged. "I dunno, it's just that I've been getting into a lot of fights and you guys are usually in trouble. I don't wanna be the reason behind it."
"Well, you did save us from Max didn't you? Unless that was a dream." Eva smiled. "It wasn't." "I think you're being a bit paranoid, and can you stop holding me, it's getting kind of uncomfortable." Eva released her grasp on him. "Sorry, I guess I can be emotional at times." Noah smirked. "Who knew? Thought you were the strong woman with iron fists." Eva sighed. "Yep, that's what everyone sees. Say, has Izzy been using my toothbrush to brush her hair?" Noah's face blanked. "What?" Eva smirked. "Forget it."
