Hi everyone! I'm very sorry i haven't been writing much I have been pretty busy and I was grounded from all electronics so.... yeah.
"Tyler!" Vanessa cried. Tyler slowly turned his head to look at her, his green eyes looking glazed. "Tyler, stay with me," She ordered, trying not to cry. Tyler took a shaking breath. "I'll try," Vanessa looked at him for a moment. After making sure no one else was there, she said, "There's something I have to tell you." Tyler nodded for her to go on. "It's my fault you're dying. My dad, he's... Voldemort." She looked away, not wanting to see his terrified face. Instead he said calmly, "What does this have to do with dementors?" "Parts of my dad are inside me. Whenever I get angry, he comes in and makes me do something, like release that snake into the great hall the first night. I wasn't angry, I was happy, and I guess that he just doesn't want me to be happy.." Tyler put a limp hand on her shoulder. "So it wasn't your fault." She shook her head. "I'm sure if you tell your friends this, they won't freak out, you know." Tyler said. "I don't have any friends." She whispered. Tyler smiled up at her. "Make some."
The funeral for Tyler was held the next day in the great hall. they were all required to wear black, which wasn't really a problem for Vanessa, since Tyler was the only reason she stopped being depressed and goth anyway. As she sat and watched the headmaster give his speech about how Tyler was a great student and all that, a bunch of girls were gathered around her, asking her if she was okay, if she cried when she watched him die in the hospital wing(and yes she did), and they even braided her hair for some reason, maybe that was what girls did to comfort each other. She pretty much just zoned them out though, because she didn't really want to talk to them. After a few minutes of having her hair done by complete strangers while she was trying to watch a funeral, the headmaster suddenly called her. "Vanessa, we all know this is a very sad day for you, but if you don't mind, would you like to come up to the podium to say a few words about Tyler?" She nodded, and all the girls around her either went, "Awwwwwwwwwww!" Or let out sincere sobs. She cleared her throat and positioned the microphone parallel to her lips. "Tyler.... was amazing." She began. "If you didn't already know, he was my boyfriend." She blinked back tears. "But he was more than that. He showed me that I wasn't just a goth girl with a sad life, he showed me that I can be myself...... He loved me for me, no matter what. Rest in peace Tyler." Then she left the room as soon as she was done. She couldn't stand to be there any longer.
The next day, a new day, a gloomy day, Vanessa didn't go to class. Instead, she went to the chorus room. It was empty, as it should be during this hour. She sat down in the corner and began to cry. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Hey," whispered Lily Potter.
