. . . 7:50 PM. . .
. . . Delta Quadrant. . . September 17th. . .
Data watched the shuttle craft be destroyed.
Scrap metal flew in all directions.
"Captain. . ." Data said, his voice became squeaky and artificial tears grew at the corners of his eyes making them seem glassy.
Data was devastated. First Geordi, then Deanna, then Worf, then Wesley, then Riker, then Spot the first (hearing the news, actually), then Carlos, then Worfian, then Alexander the first, and now . . . He tried not to cry but the emotions were too great. Data simply turned off his emotion chip feeling so taken over by them. These emotions were removed.
"Fire at the Horseceons." Data said.
Data could remember the day where they first encountered the Horseceons starships.
"Phasers have been fired." Recently promoted Carlizon O'Brien said. He was the tactile/security officer.
The Zodiac trembled from side to side sending electrical shots inside the starship.
"Captain, if we got shot again, we will explode." Carlizon said.
"Then we will explode starting a war." Data said.
In a white flash appeared the Voyager shooting phasers at The Zodiac and The Crystal. The Crystal exploded sending in scrapmetal into the Zodiac making it go wibbly wobbly. The Zodiac shot back at the Voyager making in some good dents here and there in the unique garden shovel starship. It really does have that resemblance when seen from outer space on the disk of a planet. The Zodiac fired back. The alternate Enterprise finally got the phasers/torpedo systems fixed up. The armor of the Horseceons starships are rather sturdy but not sturdy enough to withstand the repetitive firing from two Enterprises capable of taking in several shots. The Zodiac fired back.
The Voyager was actually the one making the more damage due to the upgraded weapons systems and weaponry.
Apparently everyone in the Voyager was allowed to move freely shortly before being zapped into the future.
And then. . . And then . . And then. . .
The Zodiac exploded.
"Captain Janeway of the USS Voyager--" Janeway stopped mid-way recognizing Data. "Mr Data?"
"Captain Data Soong of the USS Enterprise-H," Data said, then he did his best smile. "It is nice to see you again."
"When are we?" Janeway asked.
"2464." Data said, in a low voice.
"Ninety years into the future. . ." Janeway said.
"And you will go straight back in to it!" Q2 reappeared in a white flash. "You have saved the future, well, not really, but there is going to be a long war between the Horseceons for the next fifty-two years that brings war-ships into the picture." Tuvok was headed toward Q2's direction. "I will be sending the Voyager back to the Alpha Quadrant. . . Well more like near to Earth."
Q2 reappeared on the Enterprise-H's bridge.
The Voyager vanished in a white flash.
Data, using his logic and quick assumption, grabbed Q2 by the collar then smacked him against the wall in rage. He had turned his emotions back on.
"You can't kill me." Q2 said.
"Captain!" Recently promoted Commander Scarlett Tallyanne shouted.
"You . . . Have taken my oldest friend away," Data said, holding Q2 up by the neck staring at the entity in rage. "What did we ever do to you?" His clutch became tighter around the man's throat and he pressed his fingers against the mans adam's apple. "If I ever see you again. . . Ever. . . On my bridge. . . I am not going to stop until you are either off my bridge or immobilized." There was a growl in Data's voice. "You took my friends. We are not friends. We are enemies."
"Captain!" Tallyanne said.
Data let go stepping back.
Q2 coughed grabbing at his neck getting breath.
"You have made yourself clear, android." Q2 vanished as did the other Enterprise.
Data lowered his head.
"Continue to Starbase Gigantica." Data said.
"Yes sir." Lieutenant Commander Jackson Beagle said, plotting course to the Starbase.
"Number One, you have the bridge." Data said, then he went into his ready room for some privacy.
