Drawn To Him

Leah Carter has just moved to London. Leaving her old city, which is on the other side of the country, behind, she starts life afresh in a small but nice neighbourhood. While being far away from her one and only best friend Harper, Leah knows she has to forget her and move on, but will that be so easy when being new in an unknown town and a school surrounded by hot badboys and popular bitches?

Today was a shit day. Not because monday's are always shitdays, no.

so far i did not exactly enjoy my new school here. classes were hard to find in the huge buildings, and people were getting on my nerves so bad that i had the urge to punch them in the face. although i was fine by myself i still missed the presence of having friends around me, and at times like these i wish i never moved to this shit place. I missed Harper. I missed the fun times we had together, and all i'm left with is memories.

i got of the bus and sighed, preparing myself for the long way i had to walk. it was my second week in my new school, and the day had just ended. i was on my way home.

it was already getting dark outside since it took me a while to figure out how exactly i had to get to my house, but luckily a girl named sarah had came to my rescue and put me on the right bus safely. i know, i know, it's been a week and i still don't know my way around the area? silly leah. although i'm known as the one to mess things up all the time, it was totally not my fault today. that stupid bitch of an Amanda had told me to take a different bus that -according to her- would take me to my house "quicker" but of course, i ended up somewhere else.

why on earth did i trust her.

i decided to take a shortcut that i thought would lead to my house, for which i had to pass a dark alley. it seemed risky, but at the moment i couldn't care less.

as i was walking i heard footsteps not too far from me.

my heart beated in my chest continuously.

i didn't dare to look behind me as i fastened my speed, immediately the footsteps were getting closer and louder.

'hey, where ya going pretty girl!' a deep voice said.

my breath hitched.

fuck fuck fuck. why me?

i started running. suddenly i felt a hand grab my arm roughly and it did not even take a second before i was pushed against a wall. There was no way out.

i winced in pain as i let out a scream. 'let me go you fucktard!'

'listen to me when i'm talking to you, you little bitch.'

the man had grabbed my chin between his fingers. his voice was slurred and his breath stinked of alcohol.

'now now, lets see how those pretty lips of yours taste, shall we?' the man smirked nastily.

right when the man was about to lean in, i spit on his face.

'how dare you, you fucking bitch!'

i winced in pain as i felt his hand come in touch with my cheek.

'now you better behave like a good girl, if you want your face to stay as pretty as it is.'

he dug his face into my neck and i let out a cry.

'please stop!'

suddenly i felt the man was lifted of me. i instantly sank to the ground of the alley.

i heard noises of punching and fighting, the voice of the drunk man moaning in pain, while another familiar voice was swearing.

i didn't dare to look up and burried my face in my hands. as i realised the two people were fighting, with the drunk man laying on the ground in pain, and the other vague looking figuring coming towards me, i started sobbing.

i was scared to death. is this how my life was going to end?
