I lay on the ground as they laughed at me. All the bullies mocking my weakness. Why did they did they do this to me?
My Green Day shirt was now ripped, giving the impression of a crop top, and my jeans were covered in dirt.
As I tried to stand up, they just pushed me back down and kicked me, until someone knelt by my side and they stopped.
He pulled me up to my feet and I had a glimmer of hope. I could almost see the light at the end of the tunnel, until they punched me in the gut.
A small yelp escaped my mouth as I saw my savung grace come over and get rid of the demons.
I whispered, too weak to talk. He picked me up briday style.
"Ssh, don't talk." He said gently into my ear as he carried me to the nurses office.
"Ist dieser Platz besetzt?" came a voice from behind me. I turned to come face to face with the most beautiful, amazing, annoying irritating… person in the world.
Then again, I think those last two points were directed at myself, not her.
"W-what?" I stuttered, a little shocked. She looked clean and un-bruised.
"Oh, sorry I was practising my German. Got a lot to remember.
I said, is this seat taken?"
She said, pointing at the seat next to mine.
I was sat at an empty table, so there no way she couldn't take it.
She sat before I even finished my sentence.
"So how are you feel-"
"You said you were going to help me get my memories back." She interrupted.
It wasn't a question, it was a statement.
"Well… I… I mean… Like… yeah?"
I quarrelled with myself.
I held my head in my hands, elbows rested on the table.
"So?" Suzy asked.
"So?" I replied, my voice muffled.
"Are you going to help me or not?"
I sighed then looked her dead in the eye.
"No, Suzy, I'm not," I said coldly.
I could see the hurt in her eyes, and it gave me a pain in my chest.
"What? Why?" She said quietly, "You said that you would help me!" she rose her voice, her anger prominent. You could practically see the steam coming out of her ears.
"Someone's on they're period," I mumbled, laughing at myself. I new I must've sounded like a d!ck, but that's how I felt.
"No Luke, you know nothing about me. So don't go making these promises and breaking every single f*cking one of them! You can't break me yet, but I'm pretty sure you will soon-"
"No Suzy, your the one who doesn't know anything! You got f*cking amnesia, didn't you! So your the one that doesn't f*cking know. You are the one that doesn't f*cking know that you have already broken me past the point of fixing. So I might as well get you your memories back because you will just hate me even more and maybe I will get to live with myself knowing I got what I deserved. And that is to be left alone."
I began to walk away, the whole cafeteria looking at us.
The empty hall enclosed around me as the doors slammed shut. But not before someone got through.
"Suzy, what do you want? I'm so f*cking desperate right now to just feel nothing at all. Nothing for you, nothing about you. And your not helping it get any better,"
"I want to know what happened, before the car crash, because all I remember is standing in the road and seeing your face."
"I told you I loved you, Suzy." I breathed, shocked at how easily the lies could fall from my lips. Part of it was true. But really, what I said is something I will keep to myself as my own secret, whether Suzy remembers or not.
*Knock knock knock*
"Suzy?" I questioned, looking down at the blonde girl.
She walked past me and into the living room, before bursting into tears.
"Hey now, ssh, everythings going
to be alright." I comforted her.
"Whose bothering you?" I asked, though I already knew the answer.
"It's Luke. We got into a fight after he broke another • promise and now I feel like •…"
I sighed as she lent her head on my shoulder, leaning mine ontop of hers (if that makes sense).
"You know what, I'm going to call over the girls and we can have a Hunger Games movie marathon. Sounds good?"
I clicked on Raven's number and she picked up after one ring.
"Hey babe, what's up?" she asked, her voice ringing in my ears.
"Hey beautiful, I was wondering if you wanted to come have a Hunger Games movie marathon. Suzy is here feeling a bit upset," I said the last part quietly."
"Sure! Be there in a minute!"
I called the rest of the gang, and soon enough they were all here, including Michael with Naomi on his phone (skype).
"Hello handsome," Raven said, wrapping ber arms around my neck.
I gave her a peck ont the lips before picking her up bridal style and flopping down onto the sofa.
She lay across it with her head in my lap. Anna was sat with her arms round Suzy, making Calum look like a third wheeler, and Michael was on the floor phone in hand.
"Mikey, are you going to point me at the TV, or is it going to be like those reaction vidoes and I'm going to get to look at only your face for God knows how long.
We all laughed before michael brought a • tripod out of his bag and attached Naomi to it.
"Mike, how did you fit that thing in your bag?" I asked laughing.
"I have ways," he replied with a cheeky smirk.
"He's like • Mary Poppings."
We laughed away through the night watching Jennifer Lawrence lead two guys on and kill people.
I don't know if you would have noticed, but I've decided that this story is going to be split into 3 parts.
Part 1 is called Forgetting Luke. Part 2 is called remembering Suzy, and that is where we are at right now.
Luke out for part 3 as I don't have a name yet!
