I felt a warm pair of hands cover my eyes. I giggled as Luke led me forwards, never failing at dodging rocks and obstacles in the way. Finally he stopped.
"Close your eyes" He said, so I did. He then took away his hands.
"Now you can open them."
We were standing on a hill in the center of a circle of candles. We were hidden by the trees behind us, be I could see everything. I gasped and clamped my hand over my mouth.
"You did this? All for me?" He nodded.
"Every last candle."
I ran forwards into his arms and smashed my lips onto his. It was a short sweet kiss, before we lay on the grass and stared up at the stars.
I felt his hand reach for mine, so I grabbed into his and spread my fingers, weaving them in between his. I looked to the side to look at him, only to find he was staring right at me. I giggled when he kissed my nose, before scrunching it up.
"What was that for?" I asked. Luke kissed it again.
"For being beautiful."
All of a sudden he was kissing me everywhere on my face, so I detachted my hand from his and started to slap his arm. We ended up in a heap on the floor.
Calming back down, we lay side by side again. Luke sucked in a breath.
"You know, we don't need the stars to light up the sky, cuz when I see your face is so beautiful it can light up the whole world."
Luke looked at me and I stared back into his ocean blue eyes. "That was probably the cheesiest line I have everheard." I erupted into another fit of laughter as Luke rolled over ontop of me, fake wrestling me to the ground. "Way to ruin the moment then," he said, "I had it all planned out, but then you ruined it all!" Luke exclaimed, overdramatically. I laughed.
"What was I supposed to say?"
He helped me up and we began to waltz to no music whatsoever.
"First you were supposed to tell me that I'm amazing."
"Right..." I replied.
"Then I was supposed to say you are the amazing one."
I nodded, biting my lip to keep from laughing. Luke put two of his fingers under my chin and lifted my head so he could look at me.
"Then I was supposed to tell you I love you."
"I love you to." I said, before burying my head in his chest while we carried on swaying side to side. I really did love him.
