Home already. Well, it isn't much of a home if Naomi isn't there. At least I gave her the Pokémon ring.
Before I left I told her I would come back and get her one day. Maybe we can live that dream we wanted. It's only 2 years I have to wait. I'll survive (on skype).
I wouldn't say Australia is the nicest place at the moment, what with all the Suzy drama and all that jazz. I'm kinda glad I got to escape it.
You know what, nothing's happening and this is really depressing. I'm going to play Pokémon. Gotta catch them all, am I right?!
I wiped the blood from the sink, wiping the tears from my face. I felt suffocated, trapped inside my own thoughts.
"You need to stop Luke, it's not just you your hurting,"
I sighed shakily, "I know Maia, and I try-"
"No Luke, your Not trying! And if you are, your not trying hard enough! If one little peice of you actually cares, just a little bit, about Suzy, then you would stop and you would take those blades and throw them away!" Maia shouted.
"Why don't you take them yourself, huh? Oh right you can't, can you! Cause your just a figure of my imagination! Someone in my head! A demon that haunts me! Your not even real!"
It had been 3 months and Maia was still with me, every waking moment of the day.
She threw her hands up in annoyance.
"You know what-"
A tooth brush had fallen off the sink, exactly where her hand had been. Eyes widening in shock, she looked at me before bending down and picking it up.
"Wait what? How did you? You can't… That's impossible… I mean… What?" I puzzled, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her.
"This can't be possible. I mean, your dead, like dead dead, and you can't come back. Your not turning human, are you?"
Tears were in her eyes as she gasped for breath.
"Luke, it's not me, it's you. I think, I think your dying."
"Really Raven? Haha, I love you," I laughed.
"What?" She asked, a chip in her mouth, before laughing along with me.
I gave her a lingering kiss on her head.
"Guys, please, stop with the PDA!" Suzy commented. She was getting better everyday, so much she had been eating with us at lunch for the past week.
"At least we're not as bad as Canna over there," I said, nodding my head in their direction.
They were sat at the other side on the table, hands intertwined staring deeply into each others eyes. Their noses we're practically touching.
And however cute it may be, it was actually geting quite disgusting.
"What? Did you say something?" Anna asked, finally breaking out of their little trance.
"Nope, not a word," Raven giggled, just as Michael came running over.
"Aye! Mikey! Your back! Come join us, we have pizza," Calum shouted.
"I never thought I'd say this, but pizza has to wait. Somethings up with Luke, and it's not good,"
"Well lets go then," Raven exclaimed, wriggling out of my arms.
We all got up and followed him. Well, everyone except Suzy.
"Hey, Suzy you coming?"
She shook her head.
"Nah, I think I'll stay,"
I looked at her, but she couldn't seem to keep eye contact.
"Suzy, your coming," I demanded.
"What- No I- It's not my place-"
I grabbed her hand.
"Even though me and him aren't on best terms, he is still my best friend and you are the one he needs right now, even if you don't need him. It is your damn place to go there because he is never going to forgive himself for what he did."
"But I don't remember-"
"To forget is not to forgive, Suzy, remember that. Now lets go."
I found him sitting by himself in the bathroom, arms round his legs, rocking back and forth.
"Luke? Luke are you okay?" I asked, holding out my hand.
"It's not possible. How can she be here. Maia Maia Maia Mai-"
My hand reached his knee and he jumped back.
"What are you doing here you have to leave me alone it isn't safe-"
He noticed everyone in the doorway, including Suzy.
"You can't be here. I'm only going to hurt you. Please leave me alone," He said, scuttling back pulling at his sleeves.
I burrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Luke, give me your wrists." I said slowly but firmly, reaching over
"No Michael, go away,"
"Luke," I said louder this time, inching closer. The boys stepped forwards.
"No. No no no," Luke whispered to himself, drawing back.
"Luke, give me your wrist." I said firmly, reaching over and grabbing his arm.
He slid up the wall, getting as far away as possible.
"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! DON'T TOUCH ME! GET OFF!" He screamed as Ashton and Calum pinned him to the wall.
I drew up his sleeves to expose many cuts, some old some fresh.
"Luke why…" I heard something smash behind me.
Suzy had knocked over a lamp.
"Suzy…" I whispered, pulling away from Luke.
She covered her mouth, tears threatening to spill, before running out the house and down the road.
I sighed picking up the lamp and saw Anna and Raven hugging on Luke's bed. I guess we were all going through hard times.
"I'm dying," Luke said from behind me.
We all looked at him in shock.
"I saw Maia, Suzy's dead sister, and she told me I'm dying. That's why she could touch me."
I looked at the floor.
"And she's here right now,"
I looked at him before sprinting down the stares and running straight home.
Flipping on the light, I grabbed my laptop and logged onto skype and pressed the call button.
"Naomi," I whispered.
"What is it Mikey, tell me please,"
"I'm scared Naomi,"
"All you need to do is tell me."
So I did, and I think she's the only reason I could sleep that night.
