Part 3: Beginning Again
-5 years later-
"EVER SINCE I LEFT THE CITY YOUUUUUUUUU" I shouted, posting the random snapchat I just made. I didn't think it was very funny, but according to Michael it was.
Even my 7.61 million followers on Twitter couldn't distract me from what happened all those years ago. It was always at the back of my mind, picking away at the only happy thoughts that came through.
I had picked up some girls to see if anything would change, but lets face it: Arzaylea was nothing compared to Susannah Jarosh.
There was no point denying that I was still hopelessly in love with the blonde English/Polish girl; well, woman now. 5 years ago, when she left, I was left broken. She took everything with her, including Raven and Anna, and flew with Naomi back to England.
They cut ties with everyone, the girls leaving the guys. Michael was even worse than me; he spent at least 9 months in his room living on anti-depressants and the YouTube videos Naomi posted.
They started a band called 'Running with Scissors' which blew up in our faces, earning themselves over 10 million subscribers and even more Twitter followers. They were no doubt the biggest band of the age, if you exclude 1D that is.
We were on tour with One Direction when I next saw them. It had only been about a year since they had left, and Michael had only just recovered. I had only just recovered. Still, there they were, front row seats.
I'm pretty sure Naomi had dragged Suzy along, as the others never really wanted to leave. Bro's before hoes I guess, if girls even use that term.
Now we were here, in the middle of our SLFL tour, filming stupid Snapchats and playing music we love.
I just don't get what went wrong.
"Here we find a wild Naomi Kerslake in her natural habitat: the fridge,"
Naomu emerged from behind the door, pulling a face which resembled a mutated dinosaur. I couldn't help but laugh as I finished the Snapchat recording. Suddenly I heard a ping, notifying me that someone had posted on their story. I tapped away, not bothering to watch any of the messages coming through.
That was until I came across a certain d*ckhead. Sorry, I meant Luke Hemmings.
"EVER SINCE I LEFT THE CITY YOUUUUUUUUU" I held in a laugh as his "eyes" popped out of his head. I refuse to bend to his will!
I heard some snorting behind me, escaping from Naomi's mouth.
"You gotta admit, that was kinda funny," she mumbled, mouth stuffed with food. I rolled my eyes, exiting the kitchen.
We were in San Francisco at the moment, writing our third album.
"What about this: we're gonna fill the noise with slience," Anna suggested, grabbing a pen. Raven swatted it out of her hands.
"We're trying to find something that rhymed with silence, we can't use the same word," She exclaimed. Anna proceeded to give the mature, adult response by mimicking her to the point of aggravation.
I plopped on the couch next to Anna, Naomi sitting on the one opposite next to Raven. This was how our usual Tuesday mornings went.
"Alright, what we got?" I asked, leaning forwards onto my knees.
Anna sighed as Raven snatched the paper off the table.
"When the cable snaps no sound can be heard but the buzzing noise of silence… That's it"
I ran a hand through my hair. This was only the fifth song we had started.
"How about," Naomi cleared her throat. "Just wait till they discover the power of words and fill the noise with violence"
"YES!" Raven screamed in victory, scrawling away viciously across the paper.
I smiled a toothy grin at my band mates. Naomi, munching away at her smarties with her crazy hair colours and amazing way with words. Raven with her modest looks and her awesome hair styles. Anna with her optimistic yet sassy personality and bright clothes.
This life was perfect.
