"Zoey knew it was you?" Mike asked. Mal nodded. "She took a video on her phone when we confronted Noah, she showed it to all of the others. They're thinking of ways to take care of you, some are saying you should be killed." "What about Zoey?"
"She's acting all protective, saying that I'm the problem, you're just innocent little Mike. I shot one of the other contestants, she's still alive, for now."
Mal heard knocking on the door. "Mike, it's Zoey, I've come alone." He walked over to the door and looked outside, she wasn't lying, she was by herself." Mal let her in but closed the door quickly. "I know you know I'm Mal, you don't need to hide it." Zoey blushed. "You saw the meeting?" Mal nodded. "Yes, and I heard all the little comments from the others stating what they should do." "Mal I swear I don't want that."
"You just don't want that for Mike, you couldn't give a damn about what happened to me." Zoey didn't reply.
"You're the only thing that can stop me, and that means I must make sure you don't get in my way!" Mal grabbed her by the arm. "Let go of me!" Zoey yelled. Mal took no notice and tried to pull her away. "I said! Let go!" Zoey then kicked Mal in the groin and ran. "You little shit," he muttered as he fell down. Zoey tried to open the front door but it was locked. Zoey headed for the back door, but Mal was right on her tail.
The back door was locked too. Zoey didn't know what to do next. Mal was catching up to her fast. "When I get my hands on you you'll regret you've ever met Mike!" She ran upstairs with no options left. Scared, Zoey hid in the wardrobe in Mike's room. She heard him stomp up the stairs. She stayed extremely quiet as Mal barged into the bedroom. She could see out of a small gap between the doors. Mal was angry and was looking everywhere for her.
Mal then heard the wardrobe door creak. He stared at the wardrobe and smirked. He opened the doors and saw Zoey. She threw a bunch of clothes hangers at him but he took no effect by the weak move. As she tried to run Mal tripped her up and she fell onto the floor. He took a belt from the floor and used it to tie her hands behind her back. "Now to put you where you can't bother me."
Mal threw her in the basement. "Now you two stay down there, you'll either be left in here to rot or I'll come back to kill you, whatever comes first!" With that Mal slammed the door behind him and locked it. "The two of you?" Zoey asked. Then she remembered. "Noah! Are you in here." She looked around and she saw him sitting in the corner looking at the ground. "Noah," Zoey ran over to him, "are you okay?" Noah turned towards and held his head up. "You know, except for Mal holding me down here and threatening to kill me at any given moment, I'm doing pretty well all things considered."
Zoey noticed that there was dried blood on his face around his nose. "What did he do to you?" Noah sighed. "Mal punched me in the face for making too much noise." Zoey remembered hearing that happen. How Mal's roaring was heard all by her, as well as his threat. "Was that all he did?" Noah shook his head. "I wish, I tried to call the police, he took my phone and crushed it with this bare hands, threw me across the room and then he said he'd skin me alive if I ever did something sneaky like that again." He used air quotes on the word sneaky.
"Must have been awful. Mal is stronger than Mike, it's scary just thinking about it. Everyone knows that it's him now and nobody's safe from him." Zoey said. "He shot Izzy and who knows he could attack next. It's like we're in a horror film." Zoey shook with fright. "I wish Mike could find out how to take control before this goes too far?" "Too far? He killed Katie and Sadie, he put Justin in the hospital, he shot Izzy! He is holding us down here! For fucks sake Zoey! How has this already not gone too far?" "I just don't want them to hurt Mike, I know that if he could he would stop this madness."
"Mal, we need to stop this madness, this has gone too far!" Mike commanded from his subconscious. "Oh Mike, I've barely even started. Besides, if I want to kill Zoey last so it feels the most satisfying, I need to kill all them first." "There's no way I'm going to let you run out there and kill my friends! I'm drawing the line where I should've drawn it years ago! This ends now!"
